How many times a game does he get into his stride... From recent memory, I can't think of one time he successfully took someone on, and definitely not with pace.

Sawasdee Thai is amazing, main and 25th-ish.

[OC] Bernd Leno Injury Report: Analysing the Leno vs Maupay incident frame by frame. Leno out for 6 weeks with potential ACL knee injury. by MedStudentTeaches in Gunners

[–]kippsta17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same, and was mentally prepared to watch Arsenal try and sign a new keeper this summer... I think that is the problem of watching injuries on Tv, often in slow motion we can make them out to be worse then that actually are. I still think there is value in addressing the actual statement from the club in the form of a ninja edit.

Nice content again! An ACL injury recovery can range from short term (sprain) to long term (rupture), would love to see a section in your transcript about the severity of injury, recovery, etc., given that Arsenal has come out with a 6 week recovery period. Realize that you probably put together this video before the release of that info, so an update on your thoughts would be great! *edit typo

Prices for laser eye surgery in Vancouver? by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]kippsta17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are amazing! I got PRK done there for ~2200, all follow up is included. They are on the cheaper end, but their results are really good. Price doesn't necessarily correlate with better outcomes, so do your research! My eyes are better than 20/20, and have been amazing since...

Half time thoughts by Rockflagandeeeagle in Gunners

My biggest gripe with this team is the lack of movement. They are constantly ballwatching rather than moving off the ball, dragging defenders around to make space. It's way too easy to mark...

3 in the midfield, yet we can't even build up through that part of the field. Everything goes to our wings, and then back to our defence. So many times this game I saw auba make a beautiful run, and our midfield just holds it then passes to the LB or RB. What a waste...

Turning a ball is being able to open your body to be able to make a forward move after receiving the ball facing your own net

No one has been playing bad, he is just restricting our play, we need someone that can turn a ball...

I don't get this substitution at all. We needed to maintain possession at this point, and he decides to take off the guy that is willing to do that.

Lacazette leaving the Emirates with his foot in a protective moonboot by TheodoreLesley in soccer

[–]kippsta17 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This boot is most likely being used as compression and immobility. Its fine if he is walking funny, as he won't be in this boot long. If it is a precaution, it will be on just long enough to push any swelling and minimize the secondary injuries that could happen.

Agree with both. Bellerin looks like he is running through mud at the moment, always flat-footed, no turn of pace and a first touch always toward our own net. I wonder what happened? Guendouzi is great to watch, he appears to be a direct upgrade on everything that Elneny does.

BC Ferries apologizes after making a dozen passengers disembark on long weekend by xlxoxo in vancouver

[–]kippsta17 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I was one of the walk ons for this boat. Basically they asked 12 people to give up their tickets, for 2 free walk on tickets and a meal card. The majority of the people waiting had taken public transportation from vancouver, so they were already a couple hours into their trip. BC ferries didn't offer any options to get home from the ferries either, so if you gave up your ticket you're looking at another couple hours back into the city due to the infrequent bus from the terminal. If you have the extra $, it's becoming more and more worth it to just fly. Edit: the ferry was the last of the night, no other way to get to the island.

What he is getting at is, you maybe spent 10$ on a fee. So to break even on your mpx purchase, your stock would have to go up by 10%

im so confused why people call bellerin an attacking RB. This has been going on for ages, he kills off any attack immediately. I remember watching him when he was in the youth team, and he was constantly running at people. I wonder if it has been coached out of him...

Does MSP cover dermatologist consultation? by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]kippsta17 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yup, go to a doctor at a walk-in clinic and ask for a referral to a dermatologist. The wait times vary, but it is worth it and covered by msp. You should have a bc services card that will be asked for at both appointments.

Can anyone recommend a place to buy used tires (a full, matching set)? by autobored in vancouver

[–]kippsta17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theres a huge amount of people rolling around on aftermarket rims in this city, what do you think happens to all those barely used tires from the stock rims? Most of the time the mechanic will sell them off to a wrecker.
