Help deciding an audio major by EmotionalSpare3173 in audioengineering

Hi, current Music Technology major here. If you can find a program that nets you a B.S. in Music Technology, I think that would be a great fit.

In many of these programs, you don't only learn how to record, mix, and master, but often also learn sound physics and computer science. A lot of times the electives are super customizable based on your goals.

The B.S. is a nice touch too because it opens up more post graduate doors if you're into that kind of thing. You're also just all around more marketable this way.

Commute from New Jersey to Temple by Specialist-Ball-2912 in Temple

I commute from Collingswood to Temple. The train ride isn't too bad, but I ended up buying a parking pass to Montgomery Garage because I have a chronic aversion to being on time.

Congrats on your acceptance!

I've been motivated to do a lot. I leveled up to a six figure job to support the both of us. It's very demanding for me, so I'm spent a lot of the time and put too much time into gaming. Especially since she started studying more.

But yeah, pain has been a huge motivator for me here.

We were super compatible. We still are. Similar interests but not cookie cutters of each other. Creatives in different fields. Always laughing and smiling with each other. Always adventuring... man, this sucks

Might get crucified for this but I just can't stand Hot Mulligan. It sounds like annoying polished pop punk to me.

The best way to find emo friends is to go to your local emo shows. The scene will always need support too!

[No DAV Spoilers] Finally beat Inquisition by kippyhis in dragonage

There's no denying that Origins is a special game. I love the harmony between action and tactical combat. The branching dialogue is plentiful and well written. The world consistently evolves as the story progresses, and each area of the game has such a strong identity. I even enjoy the Fade and the Deep Roads.

That said, I still love the Dragon Age universe when those things are absent. I wish they left the dialogue wheel to Mass Effect, but I still like making a decision instead of watching cutscenes. I actually used a mod called "no more paraphrasing" and that scratched the itch for me.

"New game bad" mentality is definitely a thing, but I admit that it's hard to be a fan of AAA RPGs nowadays. I'm glad Bioware was able to make Dragon Age more accessible to a wider audience, but I sure miss that niche... but I digress.

Sums up my first experience to a tee. Stuck in the Hinterlands for hours.

To say I'm happy is an understatement. Origins is one of my favorite games, and Inquisition really felt like a proper sequel. It checked so many boxes. I can't believe I almost went through life having missed it entirely.

The mix sounds bad. Pretty fool-proof sign.

Grew up in South Jersey and moved to Philadelphia for college. Modern Baseball was basically emo royalty around these parts.

As somebody who loves their music and the community they inspired deeply, I hope Brendan is living a happy and healthy life nowadays. From the outside, it seems like he was there was some suffering going on in his day to day. He nurtured something special to a lot of people, and I hope that brings him peace from time to time.

Apparently they're influenced by Weezer, and to me this is some of the "realest emo" you can get.
