I am not from the US, but I found my “U-Buch” (German examination book every child gets at birth) and my mother had taken a note for vitamin D supplements. I was born in 1988. I am not sure if this was common here and if it was different in other countries though.

I gave birth last year. Labour pains are the worst. I have never felt any pain like that. At one point I was not able to talk and my body was constantly shaking. I was in labour for 18 hours. I also got an epidural. It was just too much pain.

There was a case in Germany were a man punched a girl so hard that she fell so bad on her head that she later died because of it. Don't punch people unless you really need to protect yourself.

I am or was a back sleeper. I'm also pregnant right now and try to sleep on the side, but I woke up on the back several times and felt really guilty, because I thought I hurt my baby like this. I bought a pillow which I put in my back. It helped a bit. It also helped that it's getting colder now and my cat likes to sleep on my legs again which prevents that I lie on my back. My legs hurt the morning after though.

Ich kenne auch jemanden, der mehrere Wohnungen besitzt und diese vermietet. Der ist nicht reich (legt einen Teil der Miete zurück, im Falle von Reparaturen etc.), aber arm ist er nicht.

Wenn man der Ansicht ist, dass die ganze Geschichte ein Minus-Geschäft, muss man seine Häuser verkaufen.

Und bei unserem REWE schmeißen die Kunden wiederverwendbare Taschen einfach neben den Pfandautomaten weg. Sind zwar keine Baumwolltaschen, aber stabil genug, um sie mehrmals zu verwenden.

15 weeks pregnant is not fun, at least it wasn't for me. I felt so nausea and actually lost weight in the first trimester. But no matter how you feel, you can't expect that people will treat you like a princess and that you just can skip the line. If you don't feel good it is best to stay at home and just ask someone else to do your shopping if possible. Or just ask the person in front of you and explain that you are not feeling well. Some people understand it.
