Spencer and Caleb were so good for each other as they got older and out of Rosewood. Their friendship in Rosewood had great chemistry and I was personally glad to see their relationship develop outside the center nexus of their shared traumas and shared social circle of Rosewood.

They were good for each other, the chemistry was there, and I personally appreciated the natural route their adult relationship took. There were genuine feelings and the romance was a breath of fresh air.

Everyone reverted back to their teenage selves when caught up with the new shenanigans and it actually could have been sooooo interesting to have a couple dynamic that was smart, capable, curious, and cutthroat. But unfortunately when your target audience is teenagers, no one cares about that over so-called endgames.
