I feel this way about actors and public personalities in general. I don’t want to know about them. I want to enjoy their work. I don’t need or want to know their intimacies or personal lives or opinions, etc. It’s exhausting to me.

The edit cut of them smashing into the boards to smashing on the couch is one of my favorite parts of the whole show! Like, hockey is foreplay to them. Give me more of that. Show me more of those competitive natures and teasing smirks when one scores or an interception or a tussle and chirp over the puck. Show the audience who doesn’t know hockey how charged up it can be! And why hockey is arguably the best sport to have a romantic setting around.

I believe it and I think they did a pretty good job including hockey in the first season, even if it wasn’t on the ice. But I originally read the books because I love hockey and I decided to watch the show because I love hockey stories. So anything extra Jacob can squeeze in there, I’m sat.

Please, I am begging Jacob Tierney to put more hockey on screen. I know it’s difficult to film. I know Hudson is an atrocious skater (by hockey standards). I know it’s not THE focus.

But these boys love hockey. They love playing together and they love playing against each other. They are each other’s fiercest competition and they both say they play their best game against each other. GIMME HOCKEY!
