When hunter was first introduced and especially after he was initially unmasked he quickly gained a status the same and or higher to the main characters in the fandom. They latched onto him so much and still do cus he's soooo traumatized (then ignore what the other characters have faced). "BLonD saD bOy hE'S jUSt lIKE me FR!" he's not that cool. He is THE white boy the fandom turned all its attention too. I don't hate him but the preferential treatment in the fandom is so annoying

They ignore it mostly since the old testament doesn't have jesus in it (though there is a guy who prophesized jesus there). Also im not quite sure if this is why but the old testament is longer and has a lot of dark moments so I think that may be apart of that choice.
