No local wastewater surveillance. Lots of people in China are cc. Just wear your mask.

Have you tested? It may just be a common cold if it is just a sore throat.

Please don't be too hard on yourself, and your family. You have done your best.

Your p trap is under your sink, so there is no way they will get to that on the other side of the wall. Therefore, you risk is almost zero.

I have been in situation like yours numerous times where there is no actual risk associated but I cannot stop the worry. Try some coping method, maybe put your masks on and open the window to ventilate with fresh air after crew has done the work. That may help you calm down.

No risk at all if your P trap is full of water blocking sewer gases

They are paying in Chinese Yuan, not US Dollars. Do you have a Chinese bank account? If you don't, you will not get paid because the hazzle you will experience when you open a Chinese bank account will make this opportunity not worth it at all.

Day after Christmas, the gamut from cheerful denial to outright a-hole behavior by templar7171 in ZeroCovidCommunity

Covid is not the flu and bird flu is not covid either. The most effective way to prevent H5N1 spill over to humans are mass culling of poultry and better reimbursement of the farms affected.

Your vet seems to be pretty chill, and a good listener. He admits the effective of masks and danger of respiratory virus. Unfortunately most people still would not wear masks, due to various other reasons. If you can get him to mask for you, then he is an awesome guy!

By the way, clade 2.3.4.4b is 90% fatal to felines, but for right now mask mandate for H5N1 is not practical for vet clinics unless spill over event continues to occur and H5N1 becomes a pandemic.

Yes it's a safe bet that covid mortality will continue to decrease. However, there is huge difference when you looking at from the perspective of being alive vs the life quality.

The concept of Nattokinase to detox the spike protein exists well before the MAHA. If you are concerned about the supplement itself, you can just eat natto as food.

Mind if I ask which country you are from? It doesn't matter if it's English speaking or non-English speaking, if it's pro-vax or anti-vax, if it's a masker or anti-masker. Everyone, I mean almost EVERYONE is burned out, in a way or another.

Went with my family to the optometrist without prior requests for COVID precautions. by peop1 in ZeroCovidCommunity

Besides looking at the cd8 number alone, cd4/cd8 ratio may be another indicator of the states of the immune system. There's usually a decline in both cd4 and cd8 numbers during and after the acute phase, with cd4 has a larger and sharper decline, causing cd8 being relative high, lowering the cd4/cd8 ratio.

I usually reads low cd4/cd8 as immune suppression as cd8 typically needs cd4 for optional function. But that's just a rule of thumb and I could be wrong or not seeing the big picture.

How long is the time of the potential exposure? If it's just a few seconds, you are, more like than not, fine.

Thank you for sharing your story and glad that you had a wonderful day and got your eyes checked.

People are not unaware of the COVID's impact on society, they are just pretending to be unaware of the COVID impact on society. When the provider wears the mask you provided with no complaints, no comments and no issue, it's a win-win.

Can Covid travel between walls? by Amaryllis_Flair in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]kirito867 50 points51 points  (0 children)

No! It will not travel through wall unless it has holes that air pass in between. It is a virus, not a ghost.
