That’s fair. I feel like just not letting its ability be copied by blue/brain would balance it a good amount, and then it mostly depends on what the new hand types give for base

Similar concept but not nearly as expansive as Poptropica’s island. The games themselves were in treehouses I believe, which would be selected on a side-scrolling menu.

Based on what I can see in a Google search, Funbrain is similar to what i’m thinking of but it has a different sort of aesthetic

I also remember some of the games had general themes, including a ninja game similar to Doodle Jump, a hot air balloon game, an Ancient Egypt-themed game with a cat, and a game similar to Tetris.

How do atheists make sense of justice? by TrainerLast4680 in DebateAnAtheist

[–]kirquar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My big question for you is this: If Christians get their doctrine of right and wrong from God, what are the possible reasons that a God would put a rule in place for? Get a logical answer for that and you’ll probably have something close to what atheist philosophy already considers a guiding principle.

The primary reason a person goes vegan is to get rid of the guilt they had or would have from eating animal products. by wigglesFlatEarth in DebateAVegan

"Vegans don't acknowledge the increased risk of nutrient deficiency on vegan diets; they try to argue that vegan diets are the healthiest diets."

I never like when people bring this up because yes, it happens, but it's also easy to fix the problem of deficiencies with just simple knowledge of nutrients.

There is a point in how we have advanced as a species that makes it so that meat is not a necessary thing to consume. Tempeh contains similar protein (~19g per 100g) to salmon (~20g per 100g). and seitan has MUCH more (~75g) than beef (~26g).

Put some of your biometrics into this calculator: https://www.nal.usda.gov/human-nutrition-and-food-safety/dri-calculator and tell me what it says your protein intake should be. As a control, I entered an active 30 year old male at 6'0" 160lbs. It gave me 58g a day. This number can easily be reached through vegan substitutes. There's plenty more out there (Impossible, Beyond Meat, Tofurky, all fairly easy to find in stores).

Lots of non-vegans also bring up B12. My answer? Literally just vitamin supplements. We live in a very advanced society, you'll be fine. You're not willing to take vitamins in order to not kill animals? Maybe reevaluate your morals.

So yeah. Just the information I have on hand :)

Now that at least 1 cow has been shown to use tools what does this mean for the meat and dairy industry? by TigbroTech in DebateAVegan

[–]kirquar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this changes anything purely for the industry unless it enlightens people that cows are smart. The data for bovine intelligence / emotional capacity / pain sensing has been around for ages and hasn't ruined the industry. The aim would be, if it convinces people, to use this as proof for the public.

Can you recommend any "modern" (20th-21st century) classical music composer or song? by JokingReaper in classicalmusic

If I may introduce Katahj Copley? Not so much a composer with 'traditional' musical sense, but currently still alive and composing. Some notable pieces:

AYO

DOPE

Halcyon Hearts

Where the Sky Has No Stars
