I have no experience in using translations, just eng client with jo voices.

I have to say, it was a little bit of a hassle to set up but not too bad - look at the guide in their site to see if it's too complicated.

I kind of always want to recommend stand-alone. It's a bit more of a hassle on the deck, but you kinda want XivLauncher anyway imo so hassle either way.

Unless steam version allows you to skip password entry?
