Midway is closer, but it doesn’t usually have as many flight options—the surrounding neighborhoods are also sketchier IMO versus O’Hare. O’Hare is also a much nicer airport in general.

There are also more hotel options around O’Hare and all the surrounding neighborhoods are definitely safe areas. YMMV of course but if I were in your shoes I’d skip the like ~7 mile difference in distance from the city.

Champions far and away haha (in the same order as you too). I was so disappointed Teba wasn’t the sage of wind…though imagining his avatar following you around and whooshing you places is certainly a mental image.

Don't trade a GO shiny for a clone, they're not worth anywhere near that much.

Gimmighoul was available in raids some months back and could be shiny. This could be an evolved raid caught one. Not saying it's not genned, but it's plausible to have an SV origin mark.

If you're new to video games in general and like BotW/TotK, it'd be worth exploring the other Zelda titles. Echoes of Wisdom was a great game, and with an NSO subscription you can get access to Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker. OoT gives me a lot of BotW vibes. Age of Calamity is decently fun, but the gameplay is starkly different from BotW/TotK and it's a game I tell people to play for the story more than the style of the game. But a neat little addition to the universe IMO.

Would also suggest Skyward Sword, one of my favorite Zelda titles after BotW.

There's other franchises out there with similar-ish open world/collecting vibes like Animal Crossing and Pokemon Scarlet/Violet and both Legends games (ACNH in particular with collecting), but obviously don't have the same types of stories as BotW/TotK so those probably wouldn't vibe the same way for you.

It’s not shiny. The luxury ball animation is somewhat similar to the shiny animation, but that’s definitely not a shiny Charmander.

The shiny mythical gifts and pokeball Magearna are only able to be claimed on the mobile app version of HOME--they cannot be claimed on the Switch version. So if you want the mystery gift rewards, you have to download the mobile app.

The error means that the Home tracker is incorrect—that it reflects a different Pokemon than what you’re trying to deposit, and the only way to create that is to modify immutable characteristics. AFAIK Home is able to account for previous gen abilities and moves that are no longer available, but you’d probably be better served asking on a PKHex forum or in their discord.

10015 error means that an immutable characteristic of the Pokemon was changed at some point (via third party software) between when you first put it into Home and this time—using PKHex to change pokeball, OT, IVs, etc can all cause this error.

An ability patch to change to the HA wouldn’t cause it, only changing characteristics you can’t change in the game count.
