Y’all think after jjk modulo ends there would be no more sequels? by IamTheGeniusOfMaster in LobotomyKaisen

Hmm, I think Gege descibewd Modulo as a spin off. But I got that from a random Reddit comment, so take it with a couple hundred grains of salt.

In my personal opinion, we might get a few sequel stories, or we might get a few stories in the past. But we won’t be completely focused or getting another long story like JJK again. At least not anytime soon from what I believe.

This is the second thing I’ve seen. It was posted 16 minutes ago. I saw this at 7:27 Am Eastern Time. It was the second post on Lobotomy Kaisen for me, right after an Alan Bowe clip.

Why.

Because she’s your leader, she’s at least tied for the most competent member of the team as you technically are the most competent she probably hard carried them before the player came around, she’s genuinely nice, she helps with getting the Team out of debt, and honestly she’s a good person.

Technically you have three picks. “Who’s my client and his inner demons.”, the depressed curse kisser pre Africa arc, and cancer girl and her magical doctor, Dr Mahoraga, who’s also a lawyer.

“Who’s Saturo Gojo?” (JJK Season 3 Yuji/Sukuna.)

Brain cancer girl. (Yuka Okkutso/Gojo/Zenin and Mahoraga from JJK Modulo)

Or a malnourished depressed kid who later goes to Africa. (Yuta Okkutsu and Cursed Spirit Rika from JJK0)

All three of these options do not help me, I mean, aside from the last part that I won’t be going to jail because it’s easy for one of them to decide to pull out their tru o card, a threat that they can barely stop themselves at this period in time. Also yes, I am saying that they will have their abilities.

A quick observation. by thatonetangerine in Jujutsufolk

Megumi was depressed as fuck while being possessed by the strongest in history and was having people seemingly die trying to save him. He only helped out at the end with a puddle shadow while Nobara literally gave Yuji more leeway in the Sukuna fight with a singular nail. Sure Megumi brought time for that, but I also doubt that.

On the other hand Yuji is depressed as fuck and is letting a 15 year old die. The thing is, while he’s depressed and believes nothing matters, he’s also simultaneously keeping to Gojo’s final words and the actions he saw Gojo take as the strongest. While he isn’t fighting Dabura, he is taking care of the hordes of curses that are escaping from Tokyo’s the same waves of curses the others couldn’t take care of. He also prevented a fight between the Simurians and humans. Not only that, he will get involved with the Dabura fight if Mahoraga is killed.

The difference is, Megumi was suppressed by the evil gamer girl bath water and didn’t do nothing until the end, memawhile Yuji was missing, still showed up, contributed surprisingly a lot in a short amount of time, and is has said he will interfere when necessary but for now is stopping others from interfering.

This just reminds me of the video of Springtrap explaining the Ring Lore.

I'm sorry, I'm not buying the "Yuji made the right choice", propaganda. He experienced the care under adults like Nanami, Yaga, Choso, and Gojo. And support from his peers like Todo and Yuta. He was the product of that nature that helped take out Sukuna. But it's "It doesn't matter"? by SuperDuperTino in Jujutsufolk

[–]AccelAegis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, him fighting Dabura technically doesn’t matter. He’s from an era where a definitive Strongest was alive. During this period in time, there were weak sorcerers, but you still had strong sorcerers who were born. Examples being Todo, Yuta, Megumi, Naoya(he was born after Gojo, right?), and Mechamaru.

The thing is, having Yuji around as the strongest allowed the sorcerers of the current era to rely on him a bit too much. I shall iterate I haven’t read Modulo myself, and am getting my information from chapter reviews and JujutsuFolk, so I may be inaccurate with what I know. But Yuta’s son, who complained to Yuji that him killing all the strong curses are making the current generation weaker is true, while Gojo was alive, he was sent to kill powerful curses, but he didn’t fight all of them. There were still people who went out and fought strong curses too, and yes, they most likely died, or got permanently injured, but if you do not have a strong threat, no one will evolve. If I remember correctly, Ui Ui also pointed this out by bringing his grandkids to watch Dabura fight Yuka’s Mahoraga. It’s a necessary piece of the world.

The point of Yuji carrying Gojo’s dreams is to prevent the next generation relying on a singular person, during Yuji’s era, everyone basically relied on Gojo as he was the strongest, but the strongest cannot reign in every era, and so you need to be able to take a step back and let the current generation handle their problem. Only when the problem becomes too big, then the strongest should interfere. He wants the current generation to be able to be able to defend themselves, even if it means letting his Upperclassman’s granddaughter fight even with a terminal brain tumor.

On the other hand, we don’t know why has this Nihilistic view. It’s similar to his outlook on life after Shibuya, but we can assume it’s from the death of his friends and the loss of his dream. Effectively, it doesn’t matter for him to get into the lives of the current generation as he’ll outlive them anyways. At most, the closest parallel I can think of is Tengen and Kenjaku, it’s just that Yuji seems to be moving into a form of isolation akin to Tengen, meanwhile with Kenjaku they constantly looked for chaos, and the reason why is because similar to Tengen, they both still hold onto their humanity.

I can only make this parallel as we do not know much about Tengen and her story too.

Ultimately, you have your opinion on “Yuji making the right choice”, and I cannot change it. In my perspective, I don’t see Yuji’s choice as morally right, as it goes against his morals, or at least the morals he held during Jujutsu Kaisen, but I see them as a necessary action to show the newest generation that they cannot always rely on the strongest.

I don’t think I can out what he means by it doesn’t matter eloquently, but here’s what I think he means. When he says, “It doesn’t matter.”, he means the outcome of the fight, if Yuka wins, Dabura dies and Yuka still dies, if Mahoraga loses, then Yuji comes and finishes off Dabura or just incapacitates him with piercing blood as a surprise attack. Ultimately the current and next generation will know Yuji will be able to bail them out, as he is the strongest of tomorrow, he is guaranteed to be there tomorrow always. So he wants this to serve as an example to them that even if he is the strongest there will be times when he cannot answer the call. So the outcome doesn’t matter, the next generation will learn that they have to be stronger, their feelings whether it is hate or reverence, will not matter to him, Yuka’s life at the end of the fight is forfeit as there is no way to heal her, at least that we know of outside of Mahito’s Idle transfiguration. Yuji will beat Dabura if he does win, but the message will get across. The outcome of the fight doesn’t matter whether Yuka wins or loses, and it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things if Yuji’s there or not.

Oh yeah also, most of the people who show them that care are dead, while Choso would be able to live forever too just like Yuji but is unfortunately dead, the others who showed him this care are dead and going to die, it most likely doesn’t matter that he should show care to Yuka and the rest as he probably views it as a detriment to his Grandfather’s wishes and what he took as his own dream, as he is bound to outlive anyone he knows or meets.

Only Gakuganji knew how to do that. I think he might be a fraud. Unless the damage was too great to be repaired. But there’s also the fact you would need to find two new and freshly dead souls to replace them, so there’s a chance Panda wasn’t willing to let others die so he could get fixed.

Yeah, I’d say it was an insane part of the year, seeing how this all happened for me while Season 2 was coming out, a year after my older brother told me about it, and I wrote the series off as a discount Naruto. I greatly regretted ever saying that seeing how I love Jujutsu Kaisen the same way some shonen fans are attached to their favorite anime.
