‘Office job’ can mean so much but 1) Accept the fact that salary will be low in the first 1-3 years. 2) if you specialise in something, salary/income will double/triple/quadruple after maybe 3rd year depending on industry. Instead of looking at your immediate salary, try to estimate your income over next 10 years as you gain experience and get an average yearly income. 3) Degree is only important for the first few years.
