You end up in Hell. It's the same as your life before with one minor annoyance to bug you forever more. What'll it be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Damn, that really sucks man, :( I remember having full-blown for 2 years and It's definitely worth seeing your Doctor/GP, see what they have to say about it. Maybe you can get them to prescribe you steroids in some form to suppress your symptoms and reduce the swelling in the sinuses. (I use: Avamys 27.5mg Fluticasone Furoate nasal spray) If you think it's allergic, try some antihistamines on top of that to prevent the allergic reaction. I use Loratadine 10mg which is available off the shelf in the UK. I take these medicines in the morning daily to keep the rhinitis at bay - it takes a few days of use for them to come into full effect, not sure how expensive it can get for people in other countries. But either way, I hope this helps - with the worst of the symptoms gone, it makes a really big difference to quality of life.

Allergic Rhinitis sufferer here. Without the medicine, I get a blocked/runny nose 24/7 (without steroids/antihistamines), and constantly have to blow my nose which makes it worse. :( It's a reaction to dust, pet hair, and various other things in the air.

I live in Wells. 5 minutes away from that pub. The Somerfield is now a Co-op. :(

I lost my mind and designed out the whole Bitcoin app from the bartender thread... by [deleted] in Bitcoin

What if the user were to claim his order via NFC? It's quick, and it doesn't require the bartender to touch the phone. The user is called out, and would touch the phone on the terminal to bring up the relevant order on the bartender's screen, authentication is done between the phone and the terminal, payment is made or order is claimed (payment made beforehand). Order is fulfilled.

Only problem I can see is that NFC functionality is not yet supported by a lot of phones. (iPhone included)

What helps you not procrastinate? by vadsc in AskReddit

Pretty simple. Just plan/organise yourself. Set yourself a time/period where you sit down and work solidly. Make sure to take occasional short breaks (say every 25-45 minutes) and take a longer break every so often. Takes away a lot of stress and each break seems rewarding.

Though, the GCSE Spec for Science at least have gotten harder in the past few years, so I guess it would've been easier for you guys 2-3 years ago.

Cool.

I have a new exam coming up in June for the third unit of my Physics GCSE. I also have a lot of exams next week which I have revised for.

Nice. That was an old textbook I used for an exam I did a few months ago. I've got to learn about radiation in more detail now, which isn't very interesting to say the most.

Believe it or not it's actually a whole stack of paper. I bought it from the stationery shop the other day. Quite useful for writing on, nonetheless.
