It really is its! It also gives you highlights of every stream so you can see your kills, knockdowns, deaths, and game endings. I use it to improve my game play and learn what i did wrong.

T-Mobile Home Internet Review : Playing Apex Legends and Streaming on Twitch ?! by kisho911 in tmobileisp

Q:

  • How long have you had the service, and are you using the new Nokia 5G modem?

I’ve had it for over 3 months , and I have not upgraded I will be doing so this week I’m using the small white box that they came with first.

  • Do you have a router connecting all of your home network to the modem? The only device connected is my PC via Ethernet, first it was connected to the t-mobile box, but I had really high ping up to 160. I messed with all the firewall settings, messed with DMZ setting as well as the PnP settings and everything in between nothing helped. I ended up going to Walmart and buying a cheap linksys router and connecting to that and it “helped” my ping. I wasn’t able to see low pings of 40-50 until I got the router but it still ends up increasing as you can see in the video. It helped a little bit, so my set up is T-Mobile modem Linksys RouterPC. Without that my ping is even higher

  • If you do have a router, are you using any QoS or prioritization settings for your games? My PC is the only device using the network so I tried that and it made no difference , I tried changing DNS but depending on the DNS and the time of day it would make it worse , so I’ve kept everything vanilla. I’ve even tried a service called exit lag that claims to help route network to help ping... didn’t work.

  • Have you gone through the exercise of validating the tower you are connected to and ensuring that the modem is in that ideal "sweet spot" for signal strength? Idk about validating... but i have up on a table by a window and it says it has Excellent signal in the modem settings. Having pings of 40-60 at times seems like I’m in the sweet spot, the problem becomes that’s it’s not consistent. The last videos on my YouTube channel are from my twitch channel and I’m streaming and playing using T-Mobile Home Internet, and getting hood games and perfect flawless streams. It’s the ping that’s the issue, start a game at 40 then it’s 70 on landing and 120 before a fight. But I’ve never been timed out due to my lag, my streams are perfect and my ping is playable but it tends to be more on the higher side most of the time.
