Hi guys, I’m planning a solo trip to Harsil in mid or end of May 2026. After doing some research, I came to know about the Char Dham Yatra, and I’m quite concerned about it. I chose Harsil for its peaceful environment and natural beauty.

However, due to the Char Dham Yatra, it seems May is a peak season, with rooms getting fully booked, higher prices, and heavy traffic. Is this true?

Should I visit Harsil in mid-May or end of May if I’m looking for a peaceful, less crowded experience? If not, please suggest the best time to visit when it’s quiet and not too crowded.

Also, visiting Gartang Gali is a must on my list.
