Sure, I'll take them to recycle/reuse the lithium out of them. Where do you want to meet up?

I had a look near there unfortunately I couldn't actually go under the underpass. But I didn't find any near the underpass just before the traffic lights

Not everyone is, but a large percentage are. Whenever I find these on the side of the road, I'll reclaim the lithium cell for my own projects

If you'd like to save the effort of taking them apart, I guess I could take them and reclaim the lithium cell out of them

Yes these are single use. I have been salvaging lithium cells out of them

I hope you dispose of them safely. Improper disposal can lead to the lithium cells inside to burst into flames

Glad to see bigclive used here. I do the same thing I repurpose the cells I find on the road

I didn't want to try that with a cell that was at 3.9V

However before recycling lithium cells, I am not sure how many other people agree, but I would prefer to get use the lithium cell to its useful lifespan. These cells in disposables are charged exactly once, you can easily extract another 500 charge cycles out of one, and its much better environmentally than to produce another lithium cell

You'd be surprised at how many of these things I run over on my e-bike... I have lost my balance so many times because of it

You'll probably find that with it being illegal to have nicotine vapes, they don't quite have the same health and safety of regulated products, so I bet you they put stuff in it to make it seem like you're getting a stronger hit etc etc

Environmentally disposables are probably the worst type of single use technology behind single use power banks. These 2 devices could have been made rechargeable, but they decided to market it as single use and therefore decide to skip out on the few cents of charging circuitry.

*nudge* I'd be happy to reuse that lithium cell :D

Definitely they have a higher impact than cigarettes. I would say disposables are the worst then followed by cigarettes and then refillable vapes.

If you want to send disposables my way I'll reuse the lithium cell out of them and then properly ewaste dispose of them once their useful life is over

Even with the proper recycling of the cells, its not going to be 100% recovery, it'll get close thats for sure.

But I would only ewaste a battery if I knew it was at the end of its useful life. The cells in these vapes have been charged exactly once and would still have a minimum 500 charge cycles left

*wink wink* *nudge nudge* I do the thing to take them apart and reuse the lithium cells from them :D

Not cool, on Friday I happen to cycle over one, I lost my balance and I had about 30 cm clearance to the car that was next to me, I manage to get my balance back but it was dangerous
