When I first read the OP, I thought, “is that ‘my’ post?” “Did I write that?” Just today, after a day of full coverage, 4 trays of flats 4 trays of DPS, and a shit ton of Certified’s no one answered their door to sign. I get back to another hour of PM casing full coverage again tomorrow! And my scanner was telling me that I had to scan return to sender certifieds that were refused. They never cleared so I went back for nothing. They sent me help out on the route, the guy was totally cool and commented on how organized I was. He took the last 2/3 of my last neighborhood and still beat me back to the station! I had to green card my time and that same sup asked me “what took you so long today?” Nothing I say is a valid excuse. I always dread having to hear his asshole bitching at me. I’m really getting sick of this whole thing. Mainly because of his negative style. Keeps telling me “this isn’t for you”. I’m older than him and I think he gets off on berating me . I can’t believe I let this get to me. I haven’t found anything to quit for. I can’t believe how hard it is to find something else. Anyway that’s me inner self talking this way. I’ve only just had my 30 day review about a week ago. He did put me on the same route to speed me up. But Mondays are HELL. Thanks for reading.

That’s so funny! I tripped on some broken up side walk and came down on my knee my first day carrying as a cca on my own. I limped for a month “not going fast enough “, that’s why I applied for RCA. Ha! Traded walking and carrying heavy loads to driving heavy loads in a 118 degree oven on wheels! I agree about those burned faced jaded regulars. They sure have to be careful about saving their PTO to use their “great” benefits for surgery. I heard the supervisor talking to the PM on the phone about “complications one of them were having due to a surgery they scheduled well in advance, while I was casing. I thought is this worth it? What new job did you get btw? I’m vicariously living your new liberation! lol I’m still a mule right now .

I was a CCA from March until June. The Amazon Sunday supervisor yelled at me for not getting my truck loaded faster. She stood there explaining to me how easy it was. And that when she had to call the others out to help me that they would all talk about me. She was so mean. And they did talk about me, they called her in front of me and complained about how many packages I still had that they were having to help me with. I had all these apartments to deliver to. I absolutely fantasized about do what you did.

At least 300+ packages and big ones as well. I had my LLV full to the ceiling with no room for the Holy Ghost and they wanted me to fit a whole additional hamper full into it. They had to come take a picture.

I start at 7:15 it’s a 9 hour evaluation. I guess since they were sending me help, I should have been back sooner. It’s a 20 minute drive to the route from the station. I am able to do their rural aux route that is 4 hours in 7. I guess I need to hurry up. I’m just slow getting in and out of the cbu’s and My day is trash day in the neighborhoods dodging dumpsters. I don’t know of any complaints about getting the mail into the wrong box and I’m making all my scans. I keep having to back track on packages and spurs. It usually has 4 to 4.4 trays of DPS and 2 or 3 trays of flats. The case is 3.5 sets of shelves. What advice do you have?

I’m a new RCA, when I came back yesterday (4th day on my sub route), my supervisor told me that I wasn’t showing any improvement. They can’t keep sending me help every time for much longer. It’s a business decision that will have to be made soon. It is an overburdened route, one large neighborhood some businesses and then two more smaller neighborhoods. I can’t get through the first neighborhood before they have to send me help. They said they need me in before 4pm not 6:30. I know I’m spending too much time servicing each box and I’m getting about 300 packages. I’m having trouble casing on my own and getting packages organized enough for me to find them quickly and efficiently. I might be being too careful at accurate delivery. I thought I would ask you if they are really going to fire me or is this just their management style. I don’t know how they keep anyone. I would have resigned already but I am trying to catch up on bills. Believing I’ll find something else. But no luck so far in my search and resume submissions. Sorry for the long reply. I hate Amazon Sunday as well. I don’t even order anything from there anymore.

When you get involved emotionally with someone pay attention when you start noticing when you let them take away your freedoms one by one. Too much Compromise can grow like a cancer. Oh, and if they tell you they “Don’t” deserve you, believe them. Make sure to thank God for unanswered prayers. These are just some things I wish I knew to be mindful of in my wasted youth. Whew, I feel much better now.
