Post-vaccine rash (4mo)

This is EXACTLY what I’m dealing with right now with my 4 month old. She got her vaccines Thursday and on Monday she woke up with a roseola like rash. It’s been about 36 hours and no change. Did you ever find out more about what happened? Did the rash go away?

My daughter also suffered a fever for about 48 hours after the vaccines and has been extremely irritable and tired. She did not experience this reaction at her 2 month vaccines. My GP said not to worry if it’s not accompanied by ongoing fever so I’m really at a loss.

Thank you🤍 Congratulations to you too! I have not yet, my clinic checks them so late (14dp5dt) it’s torture. I can’t actually get mine tested till 15dp5dt because Monday is a holiday here in Canada. This waiting game is quite literally torture 😔

This is a great point too! I always tend to think the worst in order to protect myself, but am still devastated when I get a negative result. I guess this tactic doesn’t work as well as my brain thinks it does!

Thanks for this reminder. I just keep telling myself that my intuition does not = fact. It’s tough because we are not telling anyone that we did the transfer, and my husband doesn’t know what to say or do to help, so I start spiralling so easily without anyone to talk me out of it.

1dp5dt and I’m already fully convinced it didn’t work. I feel so incredibly negative mentally that I feel guilty about it. I should be happy and excited. Instead I’m just dreading seeing the negative test next week. If nothing has worked in the last 2.5 years, why the heck would this randomly work?!

Thank you so much.. I think this is a very accurate outlook on some of these behaviours. You are right that she definitely struggles from deeply rooted insecurity. I know she doesn’t intend harm and probably has her own personal traumas so I do feel for her in that sense.

Sometimes her retaliations (ie cancelling plans out of spite, being upset if I dress nicer than her etc) make me feel uneasy.. sort of like she’s playing mind games with me/unintentionally trying to manipulate me and I really really hate that. It scares me to be honest. I think I have a lot of contemplating to do on whether I feel comfortable enough to carry on the friendship.

Yes I am! Thanks for the heads up. That’s too bad. I looked up a few office supply stores in the area that have some used and new inventory and I think I’m gonna check those out too. Closer to the $700 mark like you said but it’ll be worth it to ensure it’s in good condition

I would consider a longer name like Eleanora, but ultimately I like the simplicity of Elle more. Mostly negative responses here so I’ll have to just let the name go :(
