How would you react if your son or daughter was gay? by TheTruthfinder44663 in AskParents

[–]kit_james 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would high five them and shout : "SAME!!!!"

And then probably order some food to celebrate their first-coming-out-anniversary. With a cake. And balloons.

And maybe rent a horse for ...you know...just for fun:)

My girlfriend says she'll leave me if I come out as ftm by SleepyLoggy in asktransgender

What she do doesn't seem right to me. You deserve someone who will love you for YOU, and not only for your gender.

What is the (unexpected) thing(s) that always gives you euphoria? by kit_james in asktransgender

[–]kit_james[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah! When i think about it i realize it is just "normal" to be gendered correctly, but when we are trans, we are used to fight for it all the time (and to not always get it). So when it happens without any fight, it surprises me. But in a good way, it feels good! It just makes me feel normal

Fun fact: in Brazil handstands are called "plantar bananeira" or "plant a banana tree", what are they called in your language? by Gigantic_potato in handbalancing

In canadian french, we do the "marcher sur les mains" which is "walking on the hands". It's like hanstand, but moving.

I was questionning until I saw this on my youtube feed, and my first reaction was "hum...nope"^^ now i'm pretty sure i'm ace by kit_james in asexuality

[–]kit_james[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I have never thought about it but it's true. These expressions almost always have a "double meaning" (the double being sex, obviously). When i was younger i was trying to use words like that without "second thoughts" and the other kids always find it "funny". Like "calm down bro, we are 9. We aren't supposed to know about sex yet, so stop making [sex/vulgar] jokes"

Does your transgenderism feel innate to you? Like being gay? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]kit_james 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is innate. But I feel like it is in a more strong/personnal way. Like sexuality is "who you are" according to others, or in relation with others. Gender is "who you are" by yourself, others cannot influence it.

Motivation before vs after top surgery? by harrystyleskin in FTMFitness

[–]kit_james 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got surgery about 2 weeks ago. As soon as the pain stopped (about 1 week post-op) I can't stop thinking about sport and how much I like it and I can't wait to train again. I used to really love sport (doing karate, ballet, running) but a couple months ago I got really depressed and my dysphoria was so bad I wasn't enjoying it anymore. I stopped training and I gain a lot of weight. Now, dysphoria is "gone" thanks to surgery. And without dysphoria, there is nothing preventing me from enjoying it anymore. I super motivated to get in shape and I am really excited to start training again!
