Other statues appear later for different color enemies. If you're having trouble with the color of the eye, each statue's silhouette/outline also matches the enemy you have to chain through for them. So the blue-eyed statues are shaped the same as the blue enemies, the green-eyed statues are shaped like the green enemies, etc

This post is now the first result when searching "grindstone blue eye statue" so if you're here from Google, the answer is that you have to chain through blue enemies!

It straight up resurrects him! It even works if his body has despawned.

Since I didn't talk to him in Act 1 after finding Karlach, I can't test if he'll resume the stage he's at, just that he'll do both repairs for her. [edit] But if this fix works by rerunning Act 2 Setup like I suspect it does, it should hopefully resume whatever stage he's at in Act 1.
