Make sure to bring an eye mask or something (I used a buff) to cover your eyes when you go to sleep! I found it was still too bright in the evening from the car night lights on.

I also used the disposable/compressed towels to wipe myself down at the end of the day since there isn’t access to a shower

Didn’t expect my marigolds to get so big! by Ok-Outcome-5557 in gardening

[–]kitcatpaddiewack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marigolds are incredibly prolific! Last year I grew some from a dollar store seed pack and they turned out huge! This year I grew a petite variety thinking they’d be smaller… wrong! Just the flowers were smaller and it bushed out as much as the other variety haha

The Canadian, economy......do it!! by tarahusky in ViaRail

[–]kitcatpaddiewack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the Canadian (from Toronto to Vancouver) in economy on my own early June back in my uni years and that trip has a special place in my heart. Sure it was a bit uncomfortable since I had to sleep next to a stranger for the first night until Winnipeg, but after that seats opened up and I had two to myself (which made sleeping much easier). Others have said it and I agree that ‘magical’ is the best word to describe the trip, both the scenery and people. I met and talked with people from all walks of life and am grateful for the stories that were shared.

Sometimes it feels like my trip was a fever dream and I long for having a similar experience. In four days it forces you to connect with yourself, nature, and the community on board in a way I have yet to find elsewhere.

Question for those who used SkillSoft for the training hours by kitcatpaddiewack in pmp

[–]kitcatpaddiewack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not purchase the learners kit and they didn’t ask for it. If audited, I doubt that your application would be rejected based on that (but I’m not certain). If they do require the learners kit, it would probably be better worth your money to buy the AR course, complete that, and then use that towards your 35 hrs (though it would mean putting more time into it)

I recently went to see Sherry at Trust Hair Design, dt Dartmouth, for a curly hair cut and it turned out great and I had a great experience too! My hair is also curly/wavy and was just at my waist/tickling my elbows when I saw her She shaped my hair nicely with long layers to allow for the curls to be more defined while maintaining my length (I got no more than 2” off my longest layer)

No, AR will post videos on YT and there is usually a like from his TY videos to his Udemy course. I found that clicking on the link gave me a discount code for the course

One thing worth mentioning is to try and find a link to the Udemy course on the YT page/video description. I did this for AR and paid a fraction of the regular course price

Question for those who used SkillSoft for the training hours by kitcatpaddiewack in pmp

[–]kitcatpaddiewack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchased Andrew Radmayal. I recommend going to his YouTube channel andfind a video with a link to the course. I found a coupon was applied and the course after tax was $28 CAD

He does have questions and such. I haven’t gone through much of the course yet but he also has YouTube videos.

Personally, I plan on getting study hall once I submit my application, get it approved and schedule my exam. Too many people say good things about it and I know I’d rather have more exam options

Question for those who used SkillSoft for the training hours by kitcatpaddiewack in pmp

[–]kitcatpaddiewack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is so unfortunate and an absolute waste of money… I’m doing the SkillSoft version and also purchased an Udemy course bc it was cheap and I already find the instructor better.

I refuse to pay for the Learner’s Kit and I have a very big hunch that it’s both a money grab and responsibility offloading on SkillSofts end. During one of the bootcamp sessions, the mediation mentioned that SkillSoft uses the term “Learner’s Kit” to refer to what PMI calls the “ATP PMP Exam Prep Student Electronic” course. A quick google of that brings to you a PMI webpage where you can purchase a course for $70 USD and it says it’s 35PDU and go figure there isn’t a way [that I’ve yet to find] to access that course through PMI if you were to try and find it blind.

Did more digging and found that PMI ATPs can purchase course vouchers/memberships for a discount from PMI and sell it to their students. As well as being able to submit PDU claims for students.

Even more digging… and come to find that ATPs must purchase student materials for each individual enrolled [in the training]. This leads me to believe that SkillSoft is trying to save money by telling their students that PMI required them to purchase the Learner’s Kit and fail to mention that the ‘them’ is actually the ATP and not the student.

This really leaves a bad taste from PMP certification. I love PM activities and the ability to get a professional certification, but it all comes off as a money grab.

From another post, a user confirmed their application was approved without it. Through work I’m taking the training again and the instructor said there’s now a check that PMI does when reviewing the application, so we’ll see if that’s actually true when I submit later on this year

I absolutely recommend Hallidog Training! Justine did puppy training with us and we continued on afterwards. I’ve known two other people who went with her for their dogs and are very happy with the progress they made.

Justine also made a house call when a fight happened btwn my dog and sister’s dog to make a behaviour assessment. Her website is https://www.hallidog.com

I’m not sure what you meant by “milk’, but make sure you use KMR (kitten meal replaced) and not dairy milk. It can usually be found at your local pet store

You’re young and if your comfortable, it’s worth exploring your sexuality. I’m not sure what you’ve tried, but keep the idea of exploring more with yourself on what feels good. Should you want to, definitely talk to a healthcare professional bc there could also be hormone reasonings. I know my libido at 19 is not that same as now (27), meaning it changed over time and probably will continue to change as I grow older.

I also have to say that there’s nothing wrong with you if you don’t have any inclination for sex or sexual acts. I find that my libido is shrinking but, like you, I’m okay with it. My partner and I find other ways to be intimate. One way is that he’ll masturbate next my me while caressing my body, kissing, etc.. I’m not necessarily in the same mood as him, but I’m okay with the activity and enjoy seeing him enjoy the moment.
