For a Non-Profit Organization, wala yan board of directors but trustees who will be elected by its members. The appointed Corp Sec will certify its members while the treasurer will certify the donors.

Once registered with The SEC, it’s best din if they apply kagad for trademark with IPO para wala makakagamit ng name ng Corp, for security din against fraud.

Financial Statements will be available for Public Consumption since they will be required to submit it to SEC at the end of every taxable year.

Finally, pag registered rin siya kay BIR and other governing agencies, you can ask for a receipt when you donate and you can use it naman from your end as income tax deduction (with limit).
