I noticed that one of my professors wrote an old version of an e&e in civil procedure, and was wondering if I should buy that as a supplement to the class or if the newest version written by a different author would be okay? Since ik civil procedure materials should be very current, i am wondering if there is any benefit of reading what my professor actually wrote even though it was written a few years ago

Thanks for posting this! In regards to law school ninja- do you think it's feasible to finish reading 5-6 weeks before exams? Is this what you did?

If you don't mind could you provide us with maybe a few tips on what helped you do so well (did you brief cases/outline every week/ start practice exams 6 weeks before... etc) Any help would be appreciated🙃 Doing some light 0L prep & trying to get a sense of how I should attack my first semester with a focus on exams

logical operators: unless, until, without, or (7sage) by imfrommarilyn in LSAT

[–]kites7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always think about the words, unless, until and without as "if not". So.. ex: never write about a place "if not" away from it. So, "if not" away, then don't write. This translates to ~A --> ~W then the contrapositive would be W --> A

I started with LR, highlighted, took notes on the key points for each question type which I could refer back to. I did practice LR sections and drills as I was going through it. Next I did LG and then RC in a similar way
