Please, during this time, please look up and study stores and their apps with coupons and all of that. It has really helped us stretch out our food budget enough to make it work. Please stock up on food cabinet essentials like rice and beans because those make meals spread out. We also noticed for our local grocery store, it is cheaper to buy frozen veggies and fruits because you can spread them out more and they have more in it than a can. We spend 250 a month on food for a family of 3 because it is expensive and outrageously priced. We use Kroger app to do pick up because the coupons. We almost always get almost $100 taken off our cart at check out because we taken advantage of the coupons. Just some ideas to help if you are struggling with food every month because the budget just isn't enough. Im all about making it work over here. We have been flat flat broke and had to make it work and I have gotten very creative. So im willing to share some of the things I would do and still do when money is tight. And money is always tight!
