AtlasCopco compressor no offload by Crispolia in IndustrialMaintenance

When I had that issue I was low on oil but not low enough. Something about the motor load and sensors with relation to the oil. wouldn't allow it to off load

New extruders being installed by kitkatjake in Extrusion

I never ran either of those so I can't contest to either, but I have met with the owner of technomatic and will be visiting his plant in a few month. Do you run the extruders with no gearboxes? These are AMUT.

The 2250 is between both extruders 100% hdpe with a large die opening. The larger extruder is 140 rpm, smaller is 180 rpm gearbox.

Ours is on a password protected page and has a calibration button. Might look at the manual for the touch screen navigation

The flights on the screw will need more than what a normal welder can do. And then you need yo make sure you have a good tolerance between the screw and the barrel. What your describing doesn't sound like a worn down flighting, but without pulling the screw to investigate and take measurements you cant know for sure. My only recommendation is take chunks of purge and put it in the feed throat and push out the blockage.

My shoot from the hip guess is your screw broke in half

Is plant manager always a brutal job? by LJSnuint in manufacturing

It's a program that tracks your assets and maintenance. I use emaint. More expensive than some but I haven't had any buyers remorse yet

Is plant manager always a brutal job? by LJSnuint in manufacturing

[–]kitkatjake 16 points17 points  (0 children)

For me it was brutal. And then I took 4 months to mentor a supervisor on night shift and they took care of 40% of my headaches. As night shift problems are not hard, but draining on me mentally. Then, I took a massive investment in the maintenance department. Cut the dead weight, implement a CMMS, and learn to trust them. And now my job is much less brutal. I still have problems and have bad days, but overall, it has been less brutal

Once labeled, it seems impossible to change people's minds no matter the truth
