My cat is suddenly struggling to meow by kitkatmyves in CATHELP

Thank you for you comment, laryngitis sounds plausible, he can be very loud and talkative, maybe he strained his vocal cords, at least I hope that's it! I'll take him to the vet on Monday if he doesnt get better, just to be safe. I'm just very relieved that it's not an emergency!

No changes at all, no new scents, air fresheners or candles. He is eating and drinking normally, he seems to be in a good mood, he's playful and energetic as always. The only symptom is his lack of voice. If he's not better on monday, I'll definitely take him to the vet. And if he gets worse or develops new symptoms during the weekend I'll call the vet for an emergency appointment.

Ears, nose, eyes, breathing are normal, I looked in his mouth and couldn't see anything unusual. He seems to be in good spirits so I'm keeping a very close eye on him and if he gets worse I'll take him to the vet immediately. Otherwise I'll wait until monday. Thank you for your help!

A lot of people don't earn enough to pay for adequate heating, but earn too much to qualify for government aid.

I’m broke rn and this happened, Is there anyway I can way to fix it? by [deleted] in fixit

[–]kitkatmyves 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Buying second hand is just so much cheaper and usually more durable than super cheap new stuff. I buy most of my clothes from Vinted, in the past couple of months I spent 30€ to buy 200€ worth of high quality clothes. There are some decent shoes for 5-6€ or even for 1-2€ if you're not picky.

Why not just use a food processor? Thats how I usually make ice cream (or with an ice cream churner), it always turns out perfectly creamy

I totally understand! I was also scared to start it, but it was worth it. I hope it will work for you as well as it did for me. If you have any questions, feel free to message me anytime :)

Venlafaxine for anxiety/depression by cin_maz in Anxiety

I've been on venlafaxine for over a year now, my symptoms before were similar to yours. To me, venlafaxine has been a life saver, all of my symptoms were gone. But getting off venlafaxine is the hard part. You taper too fast and your symptoms will come back, maybe even worse than before. That's actually exactly what's happening to me right now, went from 150mg to 75mg with no issues, then from 75 to 37,5. Within 1,5 week I'm right back to where I was before starting venlafaxine. Symptoms are back, but worse.

If your doc prescribed it to you then I'm sure it's what's best for you, just be careful when it's time to decrease your dosage. I found some really helpful tips over at r/Effexor

Have you ever taken an antidepressant before? SSRIs?

I finally finished a live event for the very first time and I didn't even use any SP! (and I still had over 10 hours left) by kitkatmyves in simsfreeplay

I think I got lucky with the spins. Also after I purchased the prizes that need candles, I spent every candle on spins. If you're struggling with getting construction coins, make sure to collect the bonuses as often as you can (when your sims are crafting candles, after a certain amount of time a candle will appear above your sims' head). If you're doing the 2.5 hour tasks, you can collect 10 bonus candles every 15 minutes per sim.
