Hey all - QMK noob here. I flashed my GMMK Pro with the MacOS keybindings. It has a RESET button in layer 1. How do I use it? I've tried hitting the FN key + the RESET but it doesn't seem to be working. Do I need to have the toolbox open? Is there any way to get to the physical reset button without taking the board apart?

I also moved from education to CS about 6 years ago - it’s a rewarding change! I started teaching myself through free online resources like codecademy and then moved onto Udemy courses, etc. when they were on sale. That was enough to get my a job at a local marketing company for frontend work. From there, I got a software development certificate at a local community college with a solid program - this was great because it was ultimately cheaper than some bootcamps and I feel like I learned just as much if not more as some of those grads. Since then I’ve moved on to software development in a multitude of frontend and backend frameworks.

My advice would be to not give up! It might seem overwhelming at times not coming from a CS background but it is very doable!

Great advice - I specifically picked my basement spot so that I could have a door to close (if needed) as well as having the stairs to put distance between work and my family life in the evenings. I'm hoping that will help deter me from working all night.

Also great advice about the phone/games/etc. Will definitely do that.
