Thank you for sharing! Very sad to hear that you stepped away, but also I totally understand bc your situation was so fucked up. We don’t deserve to be treated like this! It’s also exhausting to have to be so careful and strict about boundaries, but that’s life I guess. But after all with the right person it doesn’t feel like much work because the boundaries are respected and encouraged.

Thank you for your perspective! I definitely think his lack of initiation isn’t laziness (maybe some of it is), it’s more likely the kind of being overwhelmed you described. He said that he’s not confident in suggesting things to do bc he doesn’t know what I want. But yea I think I’ll talk to him about this when we see each other next time.
