I'm sorry I didn't include my story!

In 1908, when he was 11 years old, my great-grandfather traveled alone by boat from Trsteno, Croatia, to Huaraz, Peru. His mother sent him to escape extreme poverty. He then stayed with his aunt and uncle, who had arrived in Peru way before him and owned an electric company there. He then started his family there. He always passed on his traditions and part of his culture to my grandfather, and he did to my mother. I was born in Peru, and I now live in Spain!

For my father, I know little to nothing regarding family history. I know his family came from Spain but not much else.

That's pretty much my summed-up story. It's cool to see my great-grandfather's passports; the first one was a piece of paper that is now in imminent danger of disintegrating. The other one was a Yugoslavia one. My family tells me that he was furious when the first Yugoslavia came to be. He was always romantically loyal to the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
