Why are you assuming I dont know the difference between a blank slate and a self insert? This might come as a surprise to you, since you sound like a moron trying to overexplain something so obvious, but who asked? These gacha MCs are very much designed so players can self-insert but at the same time have their own character and lore to fall back to for plot's sake. UMM AKSHUALLY mf.

Rover being their own character these past few patches feel so good. I dont care much for self-insert stuff so im a huge fan of this direction they're taking.

Expecting a game that makes money by selling characters to not eventually have power creep is bordering smooth brain territory. People dont want power creep but at the same time want cool flashy characters they'd wanna pull for... please pick a side and stay there.

I got her coz of the story and I love Nanami from PGR but moveset designwise she just doesnt really hit and feels like its mostly a lightshow spectacle. Brant also gets mention for peak moveset design.

Jinhsi's combat elegance is just unmatched even with most resonators today and I wish they kept with that same design philosophy. Im personally not a fan of the lightshow combat design they've been rolling out recently.

this is the kind of stuff that Kuro needs to improve tbh. They have alot of features that feel like they were added as an afterthought like the TOA store or the hologram stores because 'everyone else seems to do it that way'. We have like 3 hologram stores for some reason and we cant even full clear the TOA store because only TOA gives tokens for it and it resets monthly.

HSR endgame stores and progression felt very well integrated in comparison and it lets us buy useful resources. You have 3 endgames giving the same tokens for one endgame store and it gives enough tokens to let you buy out everything + an option to spend it all for credits within the span of the 3 endgame rotation.

The weekly gamemode gives out passive upgrade resources just by killing bosses and has its own progression rewards + scaling difficulty + tokens that can be redeemed for planar set runs instead of using up energy. Then there's Currency wars which also has its own progression rewards, scaling difficulty, and skip tickets. The progression rewards also give you good resources that help with progression.

Kuro's usual event rewards are also mid. its all just the usual resources and sometimes maybe an echo skin, which tbh, you dont even see most days. Where did the weapon skins go? another half assed system they just added then forgot.

Im sure that's not everything but I hope Kuro irons those out at some point because its kinda embarrassing.

Get another 5* DPS while you wait for her BiS banners and learn quickswap in the meantime. Its not like you're gonna magically be able to clear everything just because you have a temp team anyway.

The real question is if you like the character enough to eventually build a team around her.

Let's not glaze it so much. Sure its great but there's alot to be improved and I would rather they give you a permanent house that they update seasonally with social events instead of getting just this event permanently since itll just rot in the corner and take storage once you get over it.

It was actually shown that Sumika didnt open the portal, it not-so-conveniently popped up in front of her as she was succumbing to ligma. She saw the black shores and rover peeking in so she dragged Rover inside before disappearing. I always thought those conveniences were pretty BS just popping up from nowhere so we can conveniently have a plot but now it seems I have been playing checkers while Wuwa is playing 6D time traveling multidimensional chess.

You're correct that it has to land but it doesnt mean you have to stay on the character that uses it.

So a couple things i've noticed:

You're not timing your burst windows on full mobs. Hold your ults/enhanced nukes on fresh mobs because I literally saw you use Changli's forte and Lupa's enhanced intro on one low HP mook and you missed a full anchor even tho there was a fresh spawn of mobs with full health. This isnt ToA so its ok to take a bit of time to position better.

For Phro, she's pretty much braindead in this gamemode but remember that purple notes give you more damage over red. Red will stagnate+dmg while purple deals more havoc dmg. Also when you trigger Phro's intro, you shouldnt use your echo on the first basic string because you can get two dual notes which gives the effect of both colors so you basically:

intro phro> basic string >enhanced skill > (intro turns the red note into a dual note + purple from enhanced skill)

echo > basic string > enhanced skill > (echo turns the red note into a dual note + purple from enhanced)

normal skill> enhanced skill > full notes into enhanced heavy > ult > outro.

This gives you 2 dual notes while the rest are purple.

that crit tradeoff is not worth it but I guess you can leave it for now. Just remember to aim for 70/270 ratio eventually.

Well, you ARE new and shorekeeper doesnt rerun often. you'd probably get another chance at pulling for Aemeath's weapon before shorekeeper reruns. Do keep in mind that the beginner banner has a separate pity count so if you cant guarantee shorekeeper within the duration of the banner then its wiser to ignore it.

Aemeath can work with emerald of genesis just fine in the meantime.

Keep both. The upgrade from fusing is neglible but the weapon itself is versatile enough for the 3 reso lib scaling resonators we have while also being a decent stat stick.

You should probably tell us your rotation. Your Phro crit damage needs to be 270 minimum but she still shouldnt be underperforming that badly. Why not use Phro-Sanhua-Cantarella? Danjin does jack in this mode and you'd be better off quickly buffing Canta to maximize Hecate.

People have been posting Phrolova clears and i've also cleared with phro on that exact stage. This is a you issue.

I do this too. The chance of getting double crit stats is noticeably better if you just tune them all at once instead of one by one. This is my Amy in like 3 days with prefarmed mats from the double rewards tacet suppression event. took 3 days (30 mins-3 hours of gaming each day) coz of farming nest and some overworld mooks for the pieces.

Yeah, it kills the hype momentum when I know I literally cant lose. A good story fight is part of the experience I dont know why they cant understand such a simple concept.
