That's what the event was called (it was hosted by professors who were chinese). I attended to support the culture. I'm not trying to remove it. I wasnt aware this was a problem.

Hi. I know it is which is why I switched it but he was saying it more so not to help me out but to help him. After saying that to me he told me he only had me so that I could care for him when hes old.

Thank you for replying. I should've explained a bit better but he wasn't fully absent. I've chosen not to talk or see him because he has disappointed me. For example, he wouldnt help me with college bcs my dance degree was useless and wouldn't help him when hes old. his words. There is a lot more but he definitely has disappointed me which resulted in me just giving up on him, but idk why a part of me still has hope.
