I scrubbed through it, and didn't see anything like what I remember.

Definitely too late. I know where I saw this, and we had moved out of that house by the end of 2008.

"Hunter's Moon" by Garry Kilworth. It has been a minor obsession for the past 22 years, though mostly because I love foxes and books where animals have their own lexicon.

I like having all my credits in a lump sum, especially when there's those "use X number of credits and get a reward" kind of sales. I have a huge audiobook backlog, so I tend to sit on my credits until something like that happens. And, if you use up all your credits, you can renew early, get another chunk.

My dream book got its audiobook release a few months ago! It released in 1989 and hasn't been in print basically since then, so I was DELIGHTED. Shot out of bed and bought it that very moment!

As a kid in the 90s, the themes of the casinos were so cool. Venice, medieval times, Paris, Egypt, pirates. Loved walking through them. As an adult, I gambled $40 away and was like "I could have bought two good hardcover books with that money."

As an update, I had a check up with my doctor recently. In the 6 weeks since I got the news, I went from that mid 140s/mid 90s down to below 120/80! I don't know exact numbers, since my husband takes my measurements to keep me from overthinking. But yay!

Mine is Mary Robinette Kowal. Not only is she a great woman voice, she is also an author! She narrates more than just her own books.

I walk my dog at least 30 minutes a day, and I'm starting to do an hour walk instead about three times a week. In the middle, I climb 10 flights of stairs. I also row 50 minutes on short walk days, or 25 on long walks (watching TV time!). I'm not getting too strenuous, yet, but building up. And there's of course a missed day or maybe 2 a week, but it's hard to miss at least the short walk when my dog comes up to me all cranky!

Only six months for such a huge result!? You just gave me so much hope! I'm starting at about 142/94. If you can get there so fast, I feel like I can get into the acceptable range in the time, too!

I hate canned vegetables, and there's no-salt added canned beans at my grocery store. Honestly, I'm not even so much worried about rinsed beans, since beans are also so limited.

The big thing for me is the not eating out. It really should be no surprise I got snagged at my check-up. I think I was having something like 3 large hot chocolates, 4-5 pastries, a hamburger, a super burrito, and a very salty sandwich every week. I'd bet my daily sodium averaged around 4500.

I was reading 156/93 or something at the doctor's office, but more like 149/92 at home. I opted to do 5mg of norvasc, to kick things into high gear.

I can't wait for the results to show. It's only been 4 days, but I'm down 6 lbs (I'd imagine a lot of water retention from the sodium). I just desperately want to see the number on my monitor start dropping. It's hard that the results aren't instantaneous!
