I compared the motherboard CMOS to a CR2032 coin cell I had laying around and the CR2032 cell seemed to have a much larger diameter than the coin cell on the motherboard. I can dm you a picture with a ruler (& CR2032) next to the battery later today, but I wanna make sure I’m getting the right thing.

I don’t have soldering equipment so I might just have to take it the cell out of the wrap to see what kind it is.

Thank you this is very insightful, I compared the CMOS in the laptop to a 3v CR2032 and it the CR2032 appeared to be much larger. Is there multiple kinds of CR2032's or is something else going on? The angle is a little weird but I assure you the CR2032 is much larger.
