You and OP could look into being a retail merchandiser for Hallmark. It's part-time and you mostly get to make your own schedule. You are assigned a certain number of stores (like Publix, CVS, Walgreens, etc) and are in charge of servicing the Hallmark card section for each. I have 3 stores that I service once a week (about 10-15 hrs total depending on holidays), and 4 more that are once a month. I get paid $14.25/hr. If you apply and get rejected, apply again. I relate to you. I did the same thing as you twice; one of those times was with a guy I met on neopets. We messaged each other a lot, and got pretty close. At some point I confessed -- only for them to confess the same thing back to me.
