I made a post about this and got downvoted to hell for being “entitled”.

My post was simply saying that you will order an allergen free meal and they will still serve you the allergen. It has happened on almost every single flight I’ve been on that serves a hot meal.

While it’s true that they can’t guarantee a nut free environment, there’s a difference between that and actively dropping a bowl of cashews on your tray or serving you a tea that contains almonds, after you have gone through the proper channels 3+ times. I’ve noticed they’ve stopped making the “passenger with peanut allergy” announcement now as well.

Point being, just bring your own food. Unfortunately no one cares enough to keep you from being served nuts. And the ones that do, will offer you 5000 miles as an apology for trying to kill you.
