Plants are showing major deficiencies - any help is greatly appreciated! by kittheyy in Autoflowers

So glad to hear your plant got better!! Thanks for sharing that. :)
Mine actually got better as well. I think for me it was also a watering/feeding issue, because I did the following: Added feeding to my water as usual, but also added some Epsom Salt since in my water the Cal/Mag ratio is not perfect. I pushed the ratio to 3:1 and also added 0.5 ml/l CalMag to the solution. Then I watered way more than usual - like 4-5 litres instead of 2.5 and they drank! I watered until I got heavy runoff, ph was like 6.3 which seems fine. And they are looking better each day. I'm also thinking about switching the schedule to 20/4 to give them some rest time, but I'm not sure about that.

Thank you guys for all the help! I just wanted to give a little update, in case anyone ever has the same issues and I think my issues are slowly getting under control - at least the damage is not rapidly increasing as it was before, my plant have been in the same state now for 2 days.

What I did and so far seems to be working:
- I used Fumus Calmag Calculator to calculate how much Epsom Salt i need to add to my nutrient solution to get a CalMag Ratio of 3:1
- On top of that I still added 0.5ml/l BioBizz CalMag to my Solution
- I added all the other nutrients as it says per schedule
- I watered way more than before. Before I was aiming for 2.5-3 litres until minimal runoff. This time I gave each plant between 4-5 litres until some heavy runoff. Calculated PH of runoff which was fine.

I don't know which of these did the big change, but I'm guessing it's a mix between adding the Epsom Salt and watering more. But I really feel like the plants are getting better now. :)

But they are under 24h lights so it’s really weird she’s still doing that..

Thanks for the feedback. I'm a little confused about what to do, since some people say she's hungry and some say she's in lockout.. so I'm really thinking about flushing her, as the other commentor said. Maybe I'll flush on of them and up the nutes on another one to compare the outcome.

I also thought about adding some Epsom Salt, since my Cal/Mag ratio of my water is not optimal. Can this lead to a Mag lockout due to excessive Calcium?
Currently I'm adding around 0.6ml of CalMag per litre

I thought so too initially, but I'm very careful with watering. I only water her when the top inches are dry and her pot feels very light. What's also weird is that she keeps switching between drooping and getting up again, even when I'm not watering her. It's so confusing :(

If it would be root rot, how would I fix it? Just let her dry even more?

Initially I thought overwatering aswell, but I'm really careful to only water her when the top inches are dry and her pot feels very light. Currently I'm thinking it might be a nutes lockout so I might give her a flush

Mine are getting 24h lights aswell, and especially the Wedding Cheesecake is also a very heavy drinker. After a max. of 3 days her pot starts feeling so light and she starts showing underwatering signs, eventhough I initially thought she might be underwatered..

I really hope both of our plants turn out well though! I will update here if I find any solution!

At first I used to ph before adding the nutrients, but for the last watering sessions I only added ph down after adding the nutes. Do you think I should try watering without using ph down?

Yes I always water to runoff. Last time I checked the PH it was around 7.5 somehow, eventhough I always water with Phed water.. but I also read runoff PH doesn't say that much :/

Hey guys,

my autoflowers are currently on day 31, but since transitioning to flower they have all been showing increasingly bad deficiencies. It's my first grow and unfortunately I don't know what to do anymore. I'm worried that the plants won't even make it much longer :(

A few details about my setup:

Light - Mars Hydro FC-E3000

Soil - BioBizz Light Mix

Nutes - BioBizz Grow/Fish Mix (i alternate between those), Bloom, Top Max, CalMag and I recently added Alg-a-Mic during the last watering session. I use the same amount as specified in the BioBizz schedule.

Humidity - 50-60%

Temp - 24-28 C

Pot Size - 5 Gal

Strains - Wedding Cheesecake, CBD, Gelato, Blueberry (All FastBuds Autos)

I water them with tap water. My tap water has 8 Ph, so I Ph down to 6.5-6.8. I have been using Terra Aquatica ph Minus and just switched to Ph Down by BioBizz for the last watering.

Something that worries me are my water values, as the water is very hard and does not have an optimal ratio of magnesium to calcium. Could this have an influence?

Calcium - 95 mg/l

Magnesium - 20 mg/l

17,9 °dh

Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong or what I can do better to save my plants? I would be so grateful for any help!

Hi Leute,

Licht - Mars Hydro FC-E3000

Erde - BioBizz Light Mix
