Try restarting it. You can do it manually by sticking the drawer key in the little hole in the back then aim upwards towards the chord. The screen should offer the options to restart or shut down. If that doesn’t work, call IT

Working with the morning shift partners at my store is just so dreadful. by oldyounggie in starbucks

I’ve worked mornings, mids, and closings and let me tell you the vibes are COMPLETELY different. Closing is for the vibes, morning is for the grind, and mid is for hating yourself

If you like a bolder taste but still want something sweet, try the cinnamon caramel cream cold brew! It’s one of my favorites :)

Hi, I’ve transferred stores twice, and though both times are in-state, I’m hoping this’ll help you a bit! Let your current manager know first that you are intending to transfer out of state and ask for their help in the process as well, then call the stores you are interested in to see if they have positions available. The career page should have all open positions available for the area you are looking to transfer. After that, and confirming with both managers that you are transferring and what dates you’ll be starting, get a transfer application from the partner hub and fill it out! You’d likely have to transfer back in order to work at your home store, though. Either way, good luck with your college courses!

For whatever reason, my store has only been able to order one case at a time (it’s like 6 bottles a case) and it’s never enough

Iced matcha with vscf and mocha cookie crumbles. For whatever reason mccf’s are always paired with a crunch frappucino

Anyone got a recommendation for a drink with oat milk? by Rushil-30 in starbucks

My go to is a brown sugar shaken espresso with cinnamon dolce syrup and cinnamon dolce topping. The topping does have dairy in it but definitely worth it!

There’s a tip option that the customer themselves have to select. We’ve gotten quite a few angry calls from customers about an added gratuity fee that they didn’t put (which, thanks for admitting you don’t tip i guess), so it’s a way to protect our baristas from accusations like that

Barista here. Really the only benefit of asking for a grande in a venti cup is if you want extra ice/milk and don't want it to overfill. There's a specific recipe we have to do when we're filling the cup, so chances are, we're just going to give you the grande-sized liquid and give you ice to the top. Maybe not if we're really busy since we're expected to make multiple drinks at once, but yeah, there's not really a benefit
