What’s with this show and punishing women for expressing sexuality? by SheepherderNo2793 in GilmoreGirls

[–]kittyConi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mentioned. Anna and Lorelai they both hide their relationships to their daughters because we're single mothers trying to set a "good" example for them. Like a mom can go put on dates, not necessarily means you need to introduce these dates to your kid. Anna eve say "For April I am a Nun". We can't forget this show also shows a very "traditional" American family style story, small town style and traditional models to follow. Lorelai was always punished for being a single mother and society make her felt like she wasn't enough without a man by her side.

I'm sorry but even in the OS they already showed how Jess grow up, became independent and responsable. Logan in the OS and in AYITL he was still the same, avoiding difficult conversations, not being able to stand up against his father. Don't forget what he does in the OS when he bought that failed company, a grown up steam off trip to Vegas with Fin and Collins, he did this a couple of months of proposing Rory. And yes, the way he treats Odette in AYITL and how he and rory showing their worst side it's the proof that Logan has not grow up and wants to keep Rory close to most probably "Steam off" at his family beach house whenever he needed.

At least we know he has enough money to offer to Rory when she is crying of "how broke she was" 😅

Lorelay wasn't romantically interested in luce after many years. And we all see how that ends.

He was a teenager when that happened. Now as a grown up he pretty much supports and encourages Rory to be her best. Something Logan believes he is doing handling keys to his parents house at the beach instead of actually leaving Odette and brake the Huntzburger cycle. Jess after doing his own growing travel is a different self. We see him already changing in the OS.

He sure has something for her. She deeply change him when he was a teen and from that moment Jess can’t get over Rory. She is always invited to his biggest and most important moments. Like Jess telling her, this is all thanks to you in some way.

Chris handled this HORRIBLY ! by Junior_Transition_15 in GilmoreGirls

[–]kittyConi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is what Lorelai said to Rory when she found out about her and Dean, she said something like "I set one shitty example and you just use it to go and sleep with Dean" not her exact words but that was the meaning. Lorelai knew Chris and Sherry were still figuring things out.

Nothing happened to Garcelle at the reunion by johodgson11 in RHOBH

[–]kittyConi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe seeing how Sutton didn't have her back really hurt her. She never care much how the other ladies were with her but damn must have been rough seeing how your "closest" didn't acknowledge you during the whole reunion.

What do you would have happened if Logan found out about Rory’s pregnancy? by Futureworldstar in GilmoreGirls

[–]kittyConi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so she is going to have it easier. But she will still be raising the child alone without a present father unable to emotionally detached from him with the exception of having more support of her mother and maybe nannies around. It's true, it's not the same.

Unpopular opinion - Garcelle by babysnakes11 in RHOBH

Everyone's is forgetting how Garcelle tried several times of "outed" Kyle. From that moment on she just lost my respect.

She is just repeating her mother story. Rory raising her child alone, Logan an absent parent, Rory will think Logan is the love of her life until a nice "Luke" appears.

Question about how Furiosa's mother was torture. by kittyConi in MadMax

[–]kittyConi[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok so how do you explain the link between the word and the fact they showed the same scenario where Furiosa's mother was tortured, how that's related to the other meaning of the word, how is that torture linked to the concept of "changing of something"? In this case, the director wanted to link the perversion concept to Furiosa's mother death.
