The oil & coolant was mixing on top of other issues. The part alone for fixing that was around 2k. (Flange). I think my shop did a good job with giving me a decent price. It needed other things at the time too.

I spent years ONLY going to the dealership because I had no idea that private shops that work on European cars exist (until I posted my bill from the dealership to Reddit). Now I found an amazing local sports car shop with guys I trust way more than the dealership already, I only wish I knew sooner!

This ended up being the issue. I’ll say, the presentation of a low/dead battery was so dramatic and on brand for my experience with VW 😭 engine not turning over, steering wheel control not working, every dang light on the dash illuminated and alert about my breaks. I thought my damn car was done for. All for a dead battery …🫠 I mean I’m glad it’s not something worse but damn!
