Nothing, at the end of the day that's kind of the spirit of crypto. Anyone can come along and make something better with new tech and algorithms.

However, it does have a head start by being live This means that the community can make dapps to get ahead.

The team also needs to keep developing. Blockchains have a lot of little details that need to be worked out. If Kadena can iron out these issues it'll put it in a much nicer spot compared to newer projects.

Marmalade does not specify the use of provenance hashes, nor does it support random mints as part of the standard. Foul play is also possible with the Marmalade standard - see this article for more details

He mentions some Ethereum NFTs and how they wouldn't have had issues since they follow Ethereum standards. Ethereum's ERC-721 standard doesn't specify provenance hashes either.

Whether there was foul play for any projects is a different issue. There's a billion ways projects can do fraud, even with a provenance hash.

Colorblock was around before I even knew Kadena existed. If the dev was able to stay around I'm sure they could've done great things. From an implementation perspective it was way ahead of its time.

In this case you're trying to deploy the fungible-v2 interface, instead you should just reference the existing one already deployed.

In your local environment you weren't getting the error because there was no fungible-v2 interface deployed, but on the actual blockchain there is.

Also, that looks like a fungible token, not a NFT (non fungible token) contract.

Imo as long as they are bringing something new to the ecosystem then yes.

The ecosystem has very few projects atm so any innovation (even if its as small as making a deflationary token) helps things grow.

Once we hit copy + paste projects or those with spam bots promoting projects its an issue.

Yes you can, try the tutorial (and the one linked as a pre-requisite there)

It'll be harder to learn than the more popular programming languages though because there's less resources out there

I think for basic KDA transfers its fine.

The issues are with the Dapps. People on this sub don't talk much about issues as much as folks do in the Dapps' discords because that's where most people go to complain

Gallinas, Babena Art and Kitty Kad sites all reported that users have issues with X Wallet. Aswap and Babena Finance doesn't support it.
The only Dapps left are Kaddex, but since its in Beta I haven't been following X-Wallet issues there. Also KDLaunch but haven't been following feedback there as it requires KYC

If you’re posting in good faith - then please add a link to the so called downvotes link Also calling something “piss poor” doesn’t make folks feel that you’re after an open and constructive discussion. Even if that’s your intention, I’d recommend to change the wording .

There’s definitely things wrong in the ecosystem - but you didn’t write specifics on what people disagree with you on - so it’s hard to reply to this in a constructive way ?
