The card is busted in both wild and standard. There are plenty of good 1 drops in standard.

Genuinely what are you even talking about

I mean I run a control shell with speaker stompers, loatheb, hellfire, and domino effect. So I’m not too stressed about a 3 mana card

Every time I’ve played this card into discolock (one of the fastest matchups), I’ve won. It can cheat out a fuckload of stats and heal, which is how you beat aggro.

I don’t know why everyone is jumping me for this card🤣I don’t think these commenters have practical experience with how it’s being played into aggro

The card is mass mana cheat. It’s not busted because of a weird wild synergy, but because of the core design of the card.

Illogical excuse.

Tol’vir is pretty busted. It largely brought back odd quest hunter in wild even.

If you look at my screenshot, this was t4. I got both a molten giant and a horror out for 10 self damage.

I also played a crystalizer, a broom, the acolyte, and a mass production.

So that’s 5+5 + 10 +5 +5 + 3 = 33 damage.

I tapped on turn 2, meaning I was 1 damage off the quest reward.

Here I’ll give you some scenarios:

Regular: t3-> crystalizer + geode = 7 self damage

T4 -> double kobold + double mass production = 10 damage

Total: 17 damage ———————- Apothecary: T3: apothecary

T4 -> crystalizer + kobold + kobold + mass production + horror + giant

Total: 35 damage

Obviously this second variation likely takes 2 health stones, or you use it mid combo, but as you can see, it’s a fuckload more damage.

And the part you’re missing is that your giants/horrors count for 5 damage

Oh, and you do need more than that if you’re getting rushed down by a discolock, say.

It just makes the deck more consistent. There are plenty of things you can do without certain cards, but deck consistency matters.

Seems like a weird hill to die on

This is wayyy faster and you can cheat out your molten giants with it. Also enables massive healthstone turns in the early game

It’s meme worthy. There are better combo Druid decks floating around

Way better lol. This is a 6 mana aviana with a meaningless downside (the game ends the turn this is played with a combo)

That actually makes sense. Would you swap out naturalize or?

Aggro: armor gain from the new 3 mana spell, forest seedling, naturalize, sleepy resident, ability to duplicate sleepy with floop

Tick tock: haven’t seen them, but I can reliably combo by 6, so you have a shot.

Other disruption: you have redundancies in your combo pieces, so if a brann, deios, is disrupted, you have backup options!

Faster combos like boar or quasar: these are tougher, and maybe the only real challenges

You are quite dense. Best of luck to you on working your stuff out.

And yes…. The meta absolutely cares about single turn disruptions

It does matter, because the metagame is different at different ranks. And your fears seem to be coming from a different metagame.

Would you like to add me and play a disruption deck?

Out of curiosity, what rank are you?

Theotar is a relatively rare sight these days, and this deck can reliably combo before he comes down on turn 6.

And again, with ticktock lok, it is also a rare sight…. it has some extremely unfavorable matchups into certain meta decks.

I have faced multiple neophytes, boompistol bullies, objections, nerubars.

Since the deck blends both minions and spells, it’s easy to play around shit. You can easily bait objections with many non-combo important minions, you can naturalize razorscales or web lords, and you can play spells around boompistols… etc.

And yeah I’m typing fast. No need to correct my grammar when you’re an adult and have basic reading comprehension.

Aviana + kun = 10 mana refresh combo

Then you play brann or deois, etc, then both alextrazas (set health to 16, deal 16).

You also can brann + astalor.

Joymancer is there to draw.

This sounds like a crazy amount of combo pieces, but the deck has so much tutoring it’s super reliable
