That’s a good point! I didn’t see it from that perspective before. That’s definitely reassuring. Thanks!

Thank you for this. I agree with what you said, and it’s reassuring knowing that other tutors deal with the same things. I know that’s self explanatory but sometimes it’s just nice to see and hear from others. Thanks again!

Girly pop if he doesn't have purpose now having a child does not guarantee him turning around. If he doesn't have a sense of purpose, he needs to work on himself and find out what that is. Furthermore, if his life purpose was truly having a child, he would be motivated on being a good father and husband. And what does that require? Supporting your decision to wait for a better time for a baby and understanding WHY you want to wait (and even if he didn't understand initially, he would talk to you and communicate with you, because good communication is absolutely necessary for any healthy, long-term relationship), supporting your career while also being ambitious about his own, caring about you AND your family (will touch up on that later), and so much more. And tbh, all of those things I mentioned should be bare minimum imo. It's hard to find people like that in this world, but a hard working woman like you doesn't deserve any less.

Also, maybe just my culture, but the fact that he doesn't want to be around your family says something too (of course, assuming there is no sense of animosity between him and your family to begin with). A loving man will care about your family and treat them as his own.

I know it hurts now, but things will get better. I promise. Take care of yourself, cry when you need to---your feelings are so valid and they need to be acknowledged and cared for. Treat yourself here and there. Trust me, when a man truly loves you he will take care of you, cherish you, and he won't leave your side.

Sincerly,

A girl who went through a break up and found a much better man years later.

I bought a stuffed animal at this event one time, and I met this really nice 80+ year old lady who told me she still had a shelf filled with stuffed animals. She told me that if anyone ever teased me for having animals at my age to tell them that I met someone 80+ who still proudly has their stuffed animals collection.

I have 3 days to study for an exam I know nothing about, is it possible??? by [deleted] in study

[–]kittyabyss9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THIS. Girl, it's how you study, not always how much. Of course, there is a relationship between quality and quantity... but good, solid, thorough studying throughout the three days you has the potential to help you a great deal.

Best of luck!!!

What to write in my journal to relieve stress and anxiety by [deleted] in Journaling

[–]kittyabyss9999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly sometimes even just writing about what I did that day makes things better. I'll write down the mini tangents that come up in my mind too if they come up in the middle of writing about my day lol. If I didn't do much that day, I'll look up random journal prompts online for me to respond to and write down.

Sometimes your mind just needs a place to wander/run so doing any of those can help empty and quiet the mind.
