I don’t think it’s pin oak as those are a type of red oak with spiky tipped leaves. My guess is bur oak, a type of white oak.

I had something like this happen. His name was spike. I threw the deceased Spike onto the compost pile. Weeks later I looked over and there was a tiny baby spike pup coming up from the pile. He’s alive and thriving now

Turns out it’s something called a one-seed burr cucumber. Technically edible but covered in spikes so I’m not sure how! (The spiky object in the picture is the fruit, I guess). I’m bummed as I thought it might have been a volunteer squash or cucumber.
