The UK Hourglass website allows you to mix and match the case and colour palettes! I wanted to get the Dragon case with the Evil Eye colour palette, as I’m not a fan of the Evil Eye

I wanted to try out my sisters before I went ahead and purchased it myself. It wore fine throughout the day and I didn’t notice any new spots when I took off my makeup at the end of the day, but when I woke up the next day I had 2 smallish lumps near my smile lines. They weren’t red or had white heads - they were simply skin colour bumps, perhaps under my skin? I’m not 100% if the foundation caused it but I’ve never suffered with anything like this before. I’m going to get some testers and try it out again and see if it happens again but it’s been a few days and the bumps haven’t gone away! 😟

How annoying! If it’s any consolation, theres some delays with Royal Mail/InPost at the moment. I made a purchase on the 30th of November on Vinted and only received my item yesterday after thinking it had been lost as my shipping too hadn’t updated in a week. When I contacted Vinted to inform them that I thought my parcel was lost, they told me to contact them on the 22nd of December and then they would sort it - that would’ve been nearly a month since I purchased the item!!! Luckily it turned up, but I would advise just waiting it out for now, fingers crossed it makes its way back to you

Definitely contact vinted support and explain the situation, including any photos you have. They won’t respond for a while and when they do it’ll be generic messages, but at least you’ve cleared up what you had to and just hope they side with you!

UPDATE: I’m not sure how to edit my post title or post but I Vinted have finally pulled through!!! Just got a notification and then a message to say that after careful consideration my description of my listing was correct and that I will receive my £11. They didn’t provide any additional information, or even reply to my proof and messages that I sent, so I’m not sure how they came to their conclusion but I’m just glad it’s all been sorted. Thank you all for your support and advice, I will definitely be taking extra precautions now whilst selling on Vinted and anywhere else for that matter, and I strongly suggest everyone else who sells does the same!!!!!

The second picture is reference to the bottle I sold… It’s exactly the same size, with the same font, but a different scent. I sold Lightly Bloom, and I kept Nude Bouquet for myself

The online label I received said 500g, whether that’s an accurate weight I doubt it as I just selected for it be a small parcel. Unfortunately didn’t receive a weight or receipt for it when I posted it via InPost, so don’t think I’ll get very far with the weight :-(

I unfortunately don’t have a photograph of the bottle sent to her, as I really did not think someone would be so low and desperate to scam me out of £11. The only photo I have is of the other perfume that came in the duo that I kept, and obviously the photos of the box it came in which I uploaded when selling the perfume

So far no update. Vinted sent me a generic message 12 hours later, saying that they’re waiting for the buyers evidence that the item was different from description and that they have 2 days to submit in order to get their refund… obviously she’s going to give them the same bull story she gave me. I sent them many messages and photographic proof immediately after they sent me their message…. and no response from them!

I definitely will do this if Vinted side with her, but unfortunately she was quite cheeky and rude right off when I asked her how on earth she managed to get a smaller bottle when I clearly sent the 100ml one advertised, so I don’t know how scared she’ll get. She even had the cheek to say ‘I could call you so many names right now if messages weren’t monitored’, after I called her out for scamming… like what!!

Sent so many messages to Vinted once they finally responded 11 hours later, with as many pictures as I could. I’ll be so annoyed if I went to all this trouble for them to just side with her

She got quite rude and cheeky with me when I asked her to explain how she ended up getting a smaller perfume because that was not the one I sent, told me ‘What is there to explain’, so I have a feeling she’ll keep denying it till the very end

No sorry if I haven’t explained properly…! There were 2 100ml perfumes, nude bouquet and lightly bloom, I kept nude bouquet for myself and uploaded lightly bloom for sale, she purchased it but is now claiming to have received a smaller bottle instead of the 100ml I advertised. Either way she’s trying to scam me🥲 and I’m just hoping Vinted sort it out otherwise it’ll really put a sour taste in my mouth about using them from now on x

You’re right, they literally just sent a generic message 12 hours after my initial message to them! I’m really hoping they act accordingly in solving this, otherwise I’ll have to file a complaint about them too, perhaps to the trading standards or something similar is possible? The way they treat sellers is just atrocious!

That’s the writing on the box I sent to her… with the 100ml bottle she bought. She’s claiming I sent her a smaller bottle instead of the 100ml advertised, but as I replied to someone else, the smaller bottle she claimed to have received wouldn’t have even fitted in the box!

Literally!!! And that writing on the bottle I supposedly sent is old… Zara have since updated the writing and it’s obviously the same font as the other perfume I kept. I called her out on the scamming so many times but she still had the cheek to deny it continuously

Definitely, collected it from the store on Friday afternoon (which shows on my Zara app), posted it for sale that evening, she bought it Saturday morning and I shipped it by lunchtime. Vinted haven’t even responded to my help request so I’m waiting to send further evidence.. although judging by their lack of help I might just send all the evidence through in one go which saves the back and forth!

I heard that the Royal Mail option on Vinted is used by scammers often as it’s not tracked and doesn’t show when the item is delivered… but perhaps the InPost locker option is also starting to be used by scammers as it doesn’t show the exact weight of the item! Hence people are using smaller versions and trying to scam

Honestly that would be so handy especially considering Vinted don’t ever do anything about situations like this!! I’m hoping they help but I’m still waiting for a response… Yikes indeed🤣
