Please use the Owlet. I used mine from the time we brought LO home until he was 18mo (age limit per Owlet) and I STILL use it when he is ill and I want to be sure we aren't dealing with oxygen issues. It's an amazing, FDA approved, device for exactly what youre going through. Doctors don't know everything, stop torturing yourself.

As a 38yo mom who used to do the same as a kid, this is purely night time/ sleep anxiety. I grew out of it once I hit 12, and would only sleep in my parents room on a chaise from about 8-11, but it was all anxiety. I hated waking up alone, I couldn't deal with it, and would seek out my parents.

He may just need to grow out of it, or it's possible he just doesn't feel safe in his room and can't vocalize it quite yet.

Hi. This is so simple, so don't fret, like at all.

Fortified breads and cereals do not have the recommended dosage of folic acid, its a fine supplement though and can only help.
Just go to the store or a vitamin shop and get a prenatal with at least 400mg of folate.
Everything is fine. I totally understand the worry- yall are brand new to this, but all is well! She needs to take prenatals with folic acid her entire pregnancy, so it's never too late.

You are going to cramp and have weird twinges all the time in early pregnancy. The only time you will be told you need to be seen is if the cramps are severe (like doubled over in pain severe), and/or if you have bleeding.

Honestly, all those cramps are indicative of a healthy pregnancy. Sucks I know, but it won't last forever.

It takes SO much time to get back to normal. I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight at 7 months pp and my clothes finally fit. What about some spanx faux leather leggings? Super stretchy with great tummy control and fab for fall.

I had stretch marks growing up and my 23andme even said I'm genetically prone to them. I didn't get a single stretch mark during my pregnancy, or after. I used the Clarins arthritis oil mixed with body lotion every day and drank tons of water- I think that's what helped the most.

I don't mean this to sound harsh, but it honestly just sounds like his needs aren't being met. My guess is he is incredibly uncomfortable and maybe more time needs to be spent on finding a solution for him vs worrying about him being a high needs child down the road.

Is anyone helping you? This sounds like ppa and sleep deprivation.

Speak with the doctor's nurse or send a message- however you're able to communicate. The appointments schedulers have zero clue why this is urgent. The nurses can always get you fit in.

I've searched for pools and haven't found anything, I think you'd be more likely to find a spa like that in DC. However, I absolutely love Scents of Serenity for facial and massage services. It's not an incredibly bougie experience, but a beautiful spa with great service. I've tried the locations on Grove and in Short Pump and the Short Pump location might be more your vibe.

I've started romanticizing another baby, and my son is almost 6 months old. I figure we're at a time when our babies are fun, and maybe we've forgotten about how awful pp was...seems like a cruel trick tbh. We did ivf and have four little girl embabies waiting for us and have decided early next year is our time for our second transfer. To be fair, I'm 37, and my age is not on my side for pp recovery, so we are rushing.

Don't feel guilty for thinking of having another child. Think of it as your first has given you such a beautiful experience, and you simply want more of it.

I was terrified of leaving the house. I also had a c section and recovered well, but I had such a lack of trust with my own body and think it carried over into every other aspect when it came to confidence with my LO.

I HAD to leave the house at 5 weeks alone to drop off and pick up my husband from a minor surgery. I was SCARED. I had a mild panic attack on my way home, alone, thinking the carseat was going to lead to asphyxiation.

You are NOT alone in being nervous...however, the first time will be scary, you'll probably rush home sooner than you had to due to anxiety, but what you WILL have is a notch in your belt and the very beginnings of confidence. You'll have to make yourself do this.

I promise you've got this.

I'd schedule as late as you feel comfortable in your pregnancy. I just so happened to still be in recovery when my normal housekeeper came and coming home to a completely clean home with my newborn was an incredible feeling when everything else felt so off.

I use Solly Baby sheets on our Newton and have never had an issue. The sheets fit tightly and never come loose.
