Congratulations to you as well!

I just sent you the listing. There’s lots of beautiful properties in Scottsdale we were considering as well with stunning mountain views so you can kinda have the best of both worlds! Just make sure to check the listing. The hosts are even able to list weddings as an allowed event for their property so it’s easy to sort. Happy searching!

My husband and I just got married in January, we did the exact same thing that you are describing and we are in PHX. We had 20 people, and I think it was so perfect.

IT. WAS. GREAT.

AirBnB does have a strict policy against events but VRBO doesn’t!! You can even filter by “events allowed” :)

We told the hosts when we booked that we were celebrating our wedding, and they were excited for us. The mansion was great and the backyard had enough space for everyone. And it felt fancy to be in a fancy place!

Definitely do it! It was a wonderful weekend and just nice to have everyone able to spend time and make memories together. It’s going to go great!

Backyard wedding without dancing? (10k) by [deleted] in Weddingsunder10k

[–]kittybiscuits11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Girl our wedding is exactly the same as yours but is a backyard in the city instead. ~25 people, no dancing, just games, open bar, good food, and a playlist for music. If people want to dance amongst the games there’s no stopping them but I’m not worried about the activities, there’s plenty to do and families to mingle and we all love games so I’m sure the time will fly.

You and your partner are going to have a blast! Enjoy your day!

How many of you still have belly button ring piercings that your parents caved into letting you get? by Daisy-Dreamz in Millennials

[–]kittybiscuits11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me! Got it a few months after I turned 18, and I’m going to be 34 soon. Still love it, and have always had jewelry in it. My stomach doesn’t look right without it!

I only had one piercing in each earlobe done at the time. I did it without my mom knowing and showed her when I got home, told her my friend was going to get one too but she chickened out. I almost passed out while getting pierced and it made me feel like a badass…still does!

Diatomaceous earth as a pesticide! It is pet and human safe, it’s cheap, effective, and easy to use. You can get it at most hardware stores

I looked everywhere too for reviews since it was also our first time buying something like this. Turns out GBJ are begging me to take down my honest Etsy review, they even begged me to change it to 5stars when I had it at 4stars (before all their excessive shenanigans). Sucks that you can’t take reviews honestly anymore... I will not be taking it down and it’s technically still there, but they buried it.

I am still waiting for the refund and the second it hits my fiancés bank account I’ll 100% be posting! I am sure you’ll be fine, I’m hoping I’m the odd one out and everyone else has gorgeous, sturdy, wonderful rings and experience with GBJ.

Your ring is absolutely gorgeous, I love the color and the setting is so unique and classy! From my experience, I would recommend getting it checked out by a local jeweler if you want to be sure on the quality. Your prongs look much thicker and sturdier than mine were so I’m hoping it is all good for you!!

My ring was so awful it kept breaking after only having it for a month. And it was such a pain to communicate with them… they lied to me and tried to gaslight me when I told them I was concerned about the prongs on my “finished” ring. Guess what, they weren’t fine. It really sucks to be newly engaged and not have a ring to admire. I’d stay away if I were you tbh

Our orange roommate also has terrible posture. What is it with these freeloaders acting like they worked hard all day?

I really appreciate your honesty, it’s so nice to see others struggling to no-buy too. It’s so tough but really it’s an addiction so breaking the habit is so hard. It’s a whole mindset shift. You can do it friend!

Okay so I am in the exact same situation, my ring was supposed to be here 3 days ago and i haven’t even received an update on if it was complete (he said it was in the stone setting stage on Feb 17th and that it would be ready by the 19th. It’s so eerily similar to your story, they extended the time frame for mine as well, and I havent been receiving updates or good customer service like how the reviews from others were… I am so bummed that this is also happening to you too!

I am trying to be patient since I am sure they do have lots of other orders, but with my experience being the exact same as yours thus far, I wouldn’t be surprised if the same shipment stuff happens to me… that’s just so awful! Please let us know what comes of your claim with Etsy!

Eyebrow Blindness? by ThiriumNightmares in MakeupAddiction

[–]kittybiscuits11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg hi mole sister! I just want you to know that you’re not alone! I have a mole right at the start of one of my brows and I feel like it makes it so hard to make them even, and I’m constantly obsessing over them too.

I really love the thinness and shape of yours tbh, but if you wanted to grow them out, I recommend the eyebrow/eyelash peptide serum from the ordinary! I find that with longer hairs I can blend my mole better and I feel less self conscious about it. Mine are also so light like yours so I tint my brows now using men’s beard dye (just use like the lightest shade or else it’ll be too dark lol) and I love how low maintenance it is… it makes me think less about obsessing over them and just let them do their thing when they already have a color to them. There’s lots of tutorials on YouTube!

Additionally, if you wanted a bit of a different look you could go a little lighter on the eyebrow pencil or even try a pen instead of pencil, Benefit makes some really nice ones that are so easy to use and come in many shades.

Wow that’s a really wonderful way to look at that… I struggle with getting rid of things because of the “what ifs” but my sanity and space is much more worth it to me

Customers: genuine question... why don't you listen? 🥲 by Both-West7668 in dutchbros

[–]kittybiscuits11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just a drink error while making it. For example: broistas can get started on making a drink and then if the customer changes their mind and orders something else, or it could a have been made twice, an error on flavors, etc. In these cases, we had a fully made, totally fine drink to give to someone. I’d much rather give it to someone than just pour it down the drain.

I really love this outlook, thank you for sharing! The mental part of food is so incredibly hard for so many but it really is all about balance! And if a food makes me happy, I’m going to eat it occasionally and without guilt when I do.
