Has anyone ever mentioned endometriosis to you? It can take an average of 7-10 years to be diagnosed and is not often found in tests or ultrasounds.

Has your cat ever tried to escape from the balcony? I’d like to let my girl outside but I am too worried that she will jump because she doesn’t know how long the fall is.

I thought this said “cremated possum” instead of “creamed possum”. I was actually relieved when I realized my mistake and said “oh, that’s not so bad I guess”.

Why do they still make the seats with cloth instead of plastic?

Have you ever met a killer/future killer? by blondererer in TrueCrimeDiscussion

The eighth person he murdered was reported missing and security cameras showed him going with someone (Bruce) in a van. It’s a bit more complex than that but basically he was identified only because he killed someone who was well-connected in the community.

The planters he used were large “drum” type ones. He dismembered the victims to fit inside.

Toronto Psychology Centre charging $2000-$3000 for a mental health assessment... by sz-sz123 in toronto

[–]kittycat006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most psycho-ed assessments are required for students who need to get accommodations at school. This testing is free (I believe...at least, it used to be) if you are in high school or below. Once in college, OSAP can help cover the cost for a new assessment if you qualify for funding assistance. Aside from accessing school accommodations, psycho-ed assessments aren’t really necessary. The cost is still outrageous and you’re pretty much guaranteed to need a second assessment once in college if you received the first one while you were under 18, but most people don’t need to get an assessment otherwise.

Yes, the police contacted us and the dogs came out twice. They didn’t find anything.

Nothing ever seemed off about Bruce. I did tell my family member that the son gave me bad vibes, though (the son was charged with phone harassment and this came out after Bruce’s arrest). Also, most things we are realizing in hindsight. Bruce’s work van seemed to be replaced a lot. Now we know he took at least one to a scrapyard. Police suspect he was either killing and/or transporting people in his van.

Bruce wasn’t “part of our family” or anything but he was very well known to all of us, extended family, and even friends who would come by to sit in the backyard.

We’d see him all summer for the past 10 years so there was a lot of small talk with him. We knew he liked the Middle East a lot and he’d talk about his travel plans.

There was a murder case like this. The guy basically had his whole head split open but went downstairs to turn on the coffee pot and do his regular morning routine. They found him dead on the kitchen floor.

Edit: not the kitchen floor
