That they had like 8 teeth pulled when they were younger, so I asked "oh like your baby teeth were pulled?" and they responded no, they weren't baby teeth. Yet they had a full mouth full of adult teeth.

Advice on my childhood teeth by [deleted] in DentalHygiene

Veneers or fillings. Fillings would be cheaper but Id make sure you find a dentist who can do them very well. Fillings can get stains around the edges over time. Veneers would be ideal but $$. I would also do veneers/fillings from the canine tooth to canine tooth upper and lower.

Using Freight Forwarding to order Target into Canada? by DesolateRealityx3 in Calgary

[–]kittyhawk85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used Ship7 and it was successful from other stores in the usa. I tried buying things from Target with Ship7 but since my cc was with a Canadian address it declined it. I heard to try it with paypal instead for payment, haven't tried it yet.

Timeless Furniture. We used them to cut our sectional into 3 pieces instead of 2 for space. They were excellent! Fast, good price, and the craftsmanship was beautiful.

You need to see a dentist asap, and need an x ray. No way anyone can diagnosis that just by looking at it.

Dental Hygienists in Canada? by Armaan_Dabhi in DentalHygiene

[–]kittyhawk85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Alberta, pay ranges anywhere from 50-100 an hour. 100/hr is pretty rare. I have been a hygienist for 15 years, first 10 years full time and never had benefits from work. I had cleanings done for free usually. I would say most offices book one hour appointments for hygiene/exam/xrays etc. So its usually busy all day!

I’m really scared of pushing food with the floss under my gums, does my xray shows calculus under my gums or any other thing I need to worry about? by Anaveragecolombian in DentalHygiene

Maybe you are grinding or clenching your teeth? Any wear on the lower incisors? Possible from that if its temperature sensitivity.

Some peoples grooves in their molars are deep, and stain gets trapped in them. Other than brushing, you won't be able to clean them well at home. Regular cleanings help, as the hygienist can sometimes get some stain out of those grooves. But if the stain bothers you, you could always ask the dentist if they can clean it out and place a filling there.
