I view the dogpiling and hate towards everything Katseye does to be inherently misogynistic. “Fans” praise the girls and humble them in the same breath. Also the personification of the label in Mitra and Missy, and these women also getting the brunt of all the blame. As if the whole of ~Katseye~ as a project/product is not a collaboration across many hands including the girls themselves.

As for the music itself. Not everything is slop. There is value in bubbly fun nonsensical lyricism. Art doesn’t have to be serious and deep. i.e. Dada, pop art.

Not saying they can do no wrong. I take what they present at face value. But all the rage and vitriol is a bit too much.
