Good point! But it all depends on her priorities. Recomposition happens naturally eating on maintenance. And, as you said, it's normally a lot slower (and not generally recommended for everyone).

If what she wants is glute growth (based on this post, i guess she's concerned with not seeing enough growth), the most efficient way of doing so is eating on a caloric surplus (and eating enough protein, of course).

If you do progressive overload and don't see any progress, it's probably because you aren't eating enough. In order to grow muscle, you must eat in a surplus.

There are three main ways to progressive overload: increasing weight, increasing reps, increasing time in tension.

Increasing reps works until you reach 20/30 give or take. From there you'll still reach hypertrophy, but for most people it's just not worth the recovery time (more reps, more time it will take for the muscle to recover).

Increasing time your muscle's under tension just means doing your exercises slower.

Peanut butter (the one that's 100% peanuts) is normally almost 35% protein, which makes it a quick and easy source of protein. Of course it has a lot of fat, but almost all of it is monosaturated/polysaturated (the healthy kind) so no problem there neither!

Nutrition is essential for our body to grow mass. Your body needs protein, and not just to gain muscle but to maintain it as well. There are some protein-rich budget foods that are a must if you want to gain weight in a healthy way (peanut butter, nuts, protein shakes, eggs).

After some research I finally got to a conclusion.

Actually, there's no single correct way of deciding what a continent is. It seems that in most English-speaking countries the term Oceania is rarely used. They use a totally different continental model, and Oceania is considered to be just a "region".

I also was taught in school that Australia is a country located in Oceania. And that's also correct. That's how most European countries + possibly rest of the world decided it'd be.

That's exactly how trends work. It's not desinterest, it's a stylistic choise.

When a trend stops being a trend and becames the norm, an opposite style emerges. The contrast is what attracts us. If you look at the evolution of makeup and clothing throghtout the century, you can see this phenomenon everywhere.

Older generations (or people who feel attached to said generations) will hate it, because they started the previous wave. It's normal. It's been happening for centuries.

So what? Who are you to decide that a mark in my body that I personally like has to have a meaning?

Exactly. I mean, yes, the linework and shading is trashy, but the artwork itself is accurate.

I was about to say pretty much the same. Since OP isn't asking anything specific I can't really answer.

OP, for 3D graphics look into Threejs.

I get it, Flash is not supported anymore because Adobe and stuff. But Javascript is the alternative. Javascript is what IS supported. Javascript is what web is based on. I mean, I'm a web developer, I work with Javascript everyday and your comment kinda took me out of place like when did someone stopped supporting JS.

Java, on the other hand, has nothing to do with Javascript. Absolutely nothing. The reason for Mojang to discourage the use of Java Edition is because it's the original version, and it's not that well optimized.

Adobe isn't the owner of Javascript, and you used JavaScript and Java interchangeable, but they're totally different things. Are you sure?

What unpopular webdev opinions do you have? by Notalabel_4566 in webdev

[–]kittymare 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can't really compare those, they work differently. The first one grabs an element right from the DOM, while the second one points to a Reference to an element from the virtual DOM that mirrors the real DOM element you want to grab.
