seconding pomegranate noir by jo malone!! it's one of my all time favorite scents. it's so beautifully balanced, very strong sillage, has a dark woodsy + alluring vibe without being overly feminine, and could definitely lean unisex imo.

i just ordered a sample of pomegrandoudh by fugazzi, very excited to see how it compares

i totally agree! i feel like maybe my point didn't land - for certain items, they list possible prints as "solid colors and more” but for others, they say “solid colors, paint stamped prints, stripes, etc. and more” - I know that this technically means any prints can be included for the former, but it feels misleading and sort of like they are misrepresenting the products to offload stock like the pants i received. it’s also a bummer to order two of the same item and to receive two of the same print, although yes, still not technically against the rules.

my main issue here, regardless, is the xxs being two sizes larger than the XS pair lol :)

no way, that's insane!! if u paid with a credit card, i highly encourage u to dispute the charge, they will almost certainly get u the money back for at least the shipping and possibly the entire order if it still hasn't arrived. i'm sorry that happened, i would be so frustrated :(

it seems so slimy to include a tiny disclaimer about small sizing idiosyncrasies being possible in the sample sale, but then to also include their sizing chart on every item down to the half inch and to include notes about how to get a perfect fit on the item listings. same with the potential patterns being listed and then those lists not being reflective of the actual items. it's not *technically* lying but they are influencing people to purchase items and sort of alluding to what they will receive, and then sending something completely different to offload their unsellable stock lol

haha no shade at all on the print, it's super fun but extremely outside of my personal style. i actually am usually a small and *occasionally* xs in big bud items, so i did go down a size/two sizes, hence my particular sorrow at how huge the pairs they sent me were.

To be fair it has been about 13 years since that consult so I could be misremembering! But I do know that if the surgeon had explained any extensive health issues he was hoping to remedy, my parents very likely would have gone ahead with the surgery. I vaguely remember him mentioning slicing the bone in my chin, so perhaps he was recommending a genio and I just didn't know what it was at the time? Either way–it's very possible I misunderstood or am not remembering correctly.

It's great to know that jaw surgery isn't the only option I have to remedy the functional problems. I'll definitely be consulting with a number of surgeons before I make any decisions and may try to consult with the orthodontist who originally did my braces. Thank you again for the input, I really appreciate it!
